    Arnold has to go. We shouldn't have been playing Japan anyway. We threw the whole competition away due to the shit performances against Oman and Iraq.

    my mum is the same.... she's not good with the preservatives, usually in australian wines...

    BUT she's found that she can drink alot of imported wines... they dont seem to have the preservatives in them... maybe its a matter of going to a propper wine place and speaking to the person... you might be able to try a wine that doesnt have preservatives... then you'll (hopefully) at least be able to enjoy a glass of something on those special occations that you dont mind forking out a bit more for a good bottle.

    if you drink red.... try the Balthazar Tempranillo if you can find it.... its a Spanish red. very smoothe... mum didnt react to it at all... which is unusual for her.

    Thanks for the advice Megan. I don't like red wine but I like the white ones. Someone suggested I should just drink straight vodka because it's pure. :eek: Hope you feel better soon.

    yeah just go to a proper wine place and have a chat to the person who buys all the stock... its a shame that you should miss out on all the good stuff... you never know :)

    i cant think off the top of my head of a white that mum can drink... and she's in morrocco at the moment so i cant ask her...

    Speaking of vodka, I was right up the front at Dallas Crane on Friday night and he got a bottle of vodka out and started pouring it into the mouths of all the people in the front row. I jumped back so fast --- ahhh, no thanks. A mouthful of straight vodka was the LAST thing I needed at that stage! ha ha

    There were some real fuckheads there too. I was bobbing along at the very front and Leigh was about 2 metres behind me and then suddenly I realised he was standing right behind me and our mate was near me too. I didn't realise this but the guy behind me was thrusting me so it looked like he was having sex with me from behind and laughing at his friends. He was doing it to a few chicks. So Leigh walked up to him and the guy reckons "what's your fucking problem?" and the guy's friend was all puffy chested and listening on. Leigh said "The fucking problem mate is this chick here is my WIFE and if you touch her or the other chicks again, I'll fucking flatten you!" Both of them walked away! ha ha And a chick came up to Leigh afterwards and said thank you for looking out for all the chicks! FUCKHEADS!

    Then there was these other two guys who were fucking shoulder barging everyone and he kept hitting me HARD. There was a big circle around them because no one wanted to get hit. I told him to fuck off a few times and then he did a REALLY HARD one purposely at me. Leigh said he and our mate looked at each other and were just about to come and tell me to move away when I pushed this fuckwit right in the middle of the chest and screamed FUCK OFF but the funny thing is he was off balance when I hit him and I sent him flying across the floor! He walked away too! ha ha This was the first time we'd gone out with our friend and he was like "she's a firey little thing, isn't she!!!" ha ha

    Why are there always a few fuckheads that try and ruin it for people?

    Dalas Crane are playing at the Iron Bar in port tonight... i was going to go, but i cant move. probably sold out by now anyways but it would have been fun.

    Yeah, the support act was Intercooler and they weren't too bad either!

    The funny thing is that I've never seen Leigh throw a punch in 9 years of being together but he's quite tall and I suppose he appears 'big' even though he's not so when he says shit to people (not that he often does -- only in situations like Friday night), they seem to listen, weigh up whether or not to start anything and they generally shut the hell up! Leigh's a lover, not a fighter! I'm glad too...I hate fights.

    Re vodka -- I know!!! I thought the vodka thing was a bit weird too! But they seemed to be having fun.

    There were only about 150 people at Townsville's gig...in a 1,700 capacity venue. BAD!!! They seemed a bit flat at the beginning which is understandable but ended up having a ball!

    HELLLLLOOOOOOO! I'm only on here for a quick minute...have to head up to Perth, but will try to come back on here (properly) later and catch up. It's been a while, again. In short, I've been flat out and only manage to get on here at rediculous times (1am WA time onwards) and you're all in 'slumberland' then ;) Glenn's (hubby) gone to Christmas Island for a few months :( , so I guess you could say being a temporary single Mum of 3 keeps me even busier! Haven't had chanse to read back through the thread to see what you've all been up to, but hope all's well :) Planning to get on here as much as possible over the next few months....feeling pretty lost without my man here:( But at least he can't whinge about me being on here ;) So I'll make the most of that!
