    No, the floor doesn't drop it just spins really fast, so fast you can hang upside down on the wall or 'stand' on the wall. I'm going before the EV pre-party and will request they play Spin the Black Circle while on it :).

    floor didn't drop out...the padded wall slides up a foot or so off the ground....

    it was the best, when teh jubilee came to town, monday's were all you can ride for 5 or 10 bucks. we spent most of the time in the gravatron and the bumper cars.

    until the last year....then we road the gravitron like 3 or 4 times real quick....haven;t been back on it since. :lol::lol:

    the one i went on when i was a kid did at Hershey Park. I think it was called the Rotor or something like that.

    Back when I wouldn't get so sick so quickly - a ride called Salt and Pepper ( so much fun )

    Now I get sick too easily and I stay away from Carnivals - too wierd... :?

    I rememebr that ride :) I remember being REALLY concerned because the person I was riding with was kind of big and I was worried the little cage you ride in was going to break off and go flying. :lol:

    You're right - The cage would rattle around quite a bit !!!!

    Also, I remember the cage would "spin" around as well.... :sick:

    YESSS!!! We used to visit my cousins in Maryland every summer during their fest and they had the S&P...I clearly remember the ride operator keeping my sister and I on there for at least 4 times as long as normal...loved it!
