Whenever I leave to head back to the Island I usually take a picture with her... 'just in case'.
Today when i was saying by I asked her for a kiss (she usually kisses me goodbye :oops: ) but she just gave me the SADDEST look and turned away. My heart is breaking. She is going downhill fast. During the game last night I got up and noticed something wet on my feet then I realised she was lying in a puddle of pee... She's becoming incontinent... It's all happening so fast. And she is becoming completely plugged up... I'm not sure if she will make it much longer. :( :(

It's always awful to lose a dog....a young dog, I would imagine, is even worse.

Haven't been on in awhile, but just wanted to stop by and say that I've been thinking about you all - those with doggies, and those who have lost their doggies.

My mutts are okay. Well, don't know about Remy & Charley because I haven't seen them since Christmas, but I have Tanner with me...hubby and I are on the rocks right now, so I'm living at my parents and hubby is still at home...Anyway, I hear that hubs is taking Remy and Charley out for runs in the trails and bike rides in the mountains...Tanner and I are studying medical terminology, avoiding my parents' three cats, and enjoying long walks in the woods (weather permitting)...he's super-duper snuggly and wants belly rubs pretty much all day!

Anyway, glad to see that folks are still hanging around here. Sorry to all of you who have ill dogs, or have recently lost a beloved poochie...

Before start, Hope Gizmo gets better soon patrick! :thumbup:
PJ Rocks suggested I stop by the doggie thread and as promised, here I am! And here is Henry. he's pretty much slept all day which is great, gave his little body time to recover. I know a lot of people from this thread helped us out and we really can't stress how much it helped us. It's so hard to come up with money like that from no where and I can't imagine what its like for folks that just can't do it. If it wasn't for the help and support of so many people, friends and family I don't know what we could have done so thank you all so much. Big shout out too to the Adelaide Veterinary specialist centre at Norwood too. You guys are freaking genius's! Thanks for fixing Henry's butt!

driving back from my walk this morning i saw a 10 year old kid walking his dog...well, they weren't walking so much as the dog was trying to do his business...i say trying because the 10 year old was holding a bag over the dog's ass trying to get it to crap into the bag...i almost had to pull over i was laughing so hard

That is too funny!
My dog has no shame when it comes to pooping while on walks.
Even if he just dropped a monster deuce in our yard, right before leaving
He'll still find a way to squeeze one out on our walk.
And he literally does not care where.
He will poop on the paved road, or curb if he so chooses.
I was thinking I may try and train him to poop in the sewer grates.
Efficient, right?
Save the bag from sitting in a landfill for years and years.

He's had to have his bucket on again, naughty boy. Caught him sniffing at his stitches. Poor man they are probably itchy. :(
