Have a look at the aussies this summer and where is he going in... I think Hilf is averaging 16, Siddle 18 and just a guess Pattinson would be about that too... All have taken at least 30 wickets...

Cowan is a classic opening bat... is in no hurry. He would be content making it to lunch with 13 off 70... But then has the ability to score quicker too.. GOod defence, good temperament. He doesn't try to force things..
If I made a 12 of Australian India from this series.. The only Indian I'd have in there would be tendulkar at 4 and push ponting back up to 3...Sydney 11/02/2003

I am surprised about no Siddle.. While he has never been favoured in the one day format cause he is too one paced... not much variation, you'd think he would still get the nod given he is in form. And this bloke would put his hand up, he would want to play every day of the week if he could...
