New Orleans Jazz Fest 2012

So after having a baby in July 2011 and seeing Pearl Jam again in Sept. in Toronto, my wife and I are flying to all the way from Newfoundland to New Orleans for Jazz Fest. We're going from May 3 - May 8th. Pretty pumped, but it isn't going to be easy leaving the little one with her grandparents for a few days.

Any recommendations, tips or helpful information for Jazz Fest ?

    Eat at Willie May's. Best fried chicken in the world. no bs.

    Also, try the house special at Mother's. You'll be glad you did!


    These were my favorite 2 places to eat when I went to Jazzfest in 2010 for PJ.

    Awesome, thanks.

    Pretty pumped for Eddie solo show and the Foo Fighters. But I could be even more excited for the food.

    has ed ever played a full set of acoustic music to a GA crowd of 15000+ that have been drinking and partying all day, before?

    he better bring his electric guitar for this show :lol:

    and i for one would love to see him turn it UP for this big show
