Immortality, Atlanta 2000. Front row center and wife had a small sign requesting the song, Ed gave us the nod and after first encore, played. Right from the beginning he could not remember how it started. Goes over to Stone for a reminder. Still have the sign. Front row and sharing the bottle during crazy Mary more than made up for it. I love when these things happen gives character to the shows.

I can think of tons in the few shows I've seen, but the worst by far was Who You Are at PJ20, especially since Ed talks about doing all these songs they can't normally do. Speed of Sound, both times at the Spectrum were pretty bad too.

Do the Evolution at the Gorge 2006 was good. First verse fucked up, around 0:35.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VrtHsqn6MPI

Also Off He Goes Gorge 2005, which is unfortunate since they played it very good, except Eddie fucked up the first verse and skips the second :(. It would've been my favorite version hadn't been for the fuck up.

I hope they do another intro acoustic set at the Gorge in 2012 like they did in 2005!

Eddie seems to turn to Stone when lyrics are up in the air.

I seem to recall them butchering quite a few songs on the San Sebastian '00 boot. Not their tightest performance

I left it out since they played it fine the second go. :)

I would like Ed to get In My Tree right at least once.

I guess I don't pay too much attention to the screw ups unless they're totally unlistenable (who you are above). For the 103 (I think) distinct songs at the spectrum, it's pretty incredible how well they do.

Alone in NJ in 2006, it sucks cause the song gets limited play and its one of my favs, then it gets fucked up

I'd be a bit pissed if I heard them play this one and it got botched, as it's one off my list of never heards, want to hear. In Melb '03 Eddie mucked up the lyrics to Wishlist, cant remember whether it was the first or second concert, and a lot of people laughed.

Thanks for the youtube link, Cockage. I was there for this botched song and still relive it when I listen to the bootleg CD of the concert.

    Alive -San Sebastian 2000

...the band practically stops playing the song and finally picks it back up.

If you've not seen this clip it is worth watching, especially around two and a half minutes in. This show is actually really great to listen to despite the numerous fuck-ups throughout.

Gods Dice early tour 2000 was rarely played right, likewise with Immortality all through 2000. The worst I've seen was probably this one....

I love it when they fuck up!! I actually appreciate them more as a band for it... It reminds me that they are human and that they are not the type of band that memorizes 25 - 30 songs per tour to play. You might get anything, anytime...

Have they ever fucked up Fuckin' Up?? that would be priceless.... :D
