Loved him on SNL, his movies were funny...

He's gonna be performing at one of the casinos here in a few weeks. Probably to promote his new show...

Anybody seen his stand up acts?

His new show will crash and burn. I like him most times, but he can't carry a sitcom...

Not a big fan, and I am baffled as to who ever it is that thought he could support his own sitcom.

no...he's gonna be there the last week in Jan.

Though Natalie Cole will be there on the 17th (Feb)and the Isley Brothers will be at the Little Creek on the 25th...yes I can provide alcoholic whipped cream and rig pigs would be so much fun! They might make alright 'shot girls'.:lol::lol:

I have never understood Rob Schneider's appeal. He did a few funny things on SNL (like Tiny Elvis), but for the most part he was just annoying. How he managed to maintain a movie career is beyond me, but I guess it's partly due to the fact he's Adam Sandler's friend. Every movie of his I've seen seem like they should be career enders. Then he keeps cruising along. And this new show looks very dumb, but the fact that it's coming out at the same time as an astonishingly stupid looking Bosom Buddies copy-cat called "Work It" has sort of softened the blow that it probably would have received otherwise.

But having said that, his stand-up might be worth seeing. Many comedians have done bad movies or TV but stayed funny as comedians. And the two aren't really related. Just think of some of the comedians over the years who have done dumb or family friendly sitcoms/movies but on the side did really raunchy and funny stand-up.

Only 2 movies I find him funny in: Big Daddy and 50 First Dates. Otherwise, he just pretty much annoys me. Also, this: http://www.buzzfeed.com/jpmoore/a-tv-critic-live-tweets-his-initial-viewing-of-rob

I saw him do standup almost two years ago. He was not that funny. I probably had pretty high expectations going in, but he was not that good.

After the show though, he did take pictures for anyone that wanted to meet him. Soldout show and it seemed like pretty much everyone was in line to meet him. Nice guy. Not a great comedian.

ok, so I went to see him (Mr. RK's b-day present)

Sold out show, not that the room was that big to begin with. Maybe 800-1000 people.

I laughed at his jokes, not crying laughing, but I laughed. Don't think I could repeat some of his jokes here because they were off-color.

He didn't offer to meet people after the show. Performed for 90 minutes. He did do some of his impersonations...Sean Connery, Adam Sandler, Christopher Walken...
