    we got everyone from the league saying they want in the playoff pool

    except for sos and davidtrios

    do we want

    the horos pool - pick every game winner through the super bowl before the playoffs start

    the ponce pool - give each of the 12 teams in playoffs a value 1-12

    or

    my pool - pick against the spread with half point added if necessary

    i vote for mine, i just like spreads a little more

    I'm fine with Eric's spread pool, but we need a good tirbreaker cause with only 11 games its almost a guarantee we'll have a tie.

    I agree with Poncier, we need to have some form of tiebreaker setup.

    my idea for the tiebreaker is

    we all pick the spreads as normal

    but each weekend, we pick the total points scored for the 1st game played each weekend

    for instance

    the 1st game this weekend is cincy at houston

    if i pick 37-13, or 50 points total

    and the final score is actually 21-20

    then my tiebreaker total is 9

    50 - 41 = 9

    if i pick 10 - 3, or 13

    and the final score is 21-20

    my tiebreaker score is 28

    41 - 13 = 28

    we all have a tiebreaker total that carrys on each weekend through the sb

    the lowest total wins the tiebreaker

    this way it's not just the sb total for a tiebreaker

    Prior to playoffs we pick who is in SB, what final score is & who covers?
    for example....NYG vs. DEN, 17-15 NYG Win, DEN covers spread. Not sure if we need to get to that level but just picking the 2 teams and the victor might separate any folks who tied?

    Me too, but I want to pick the final score for every game; not just the first game of the weekend. If we're going to do it for one game, why not do it for all the games? OR, if we're only picking the final score in one game, then I think we should get to choose whatever game we want.

    Yep, only difference is the tiebreaker! I guess since there's only 11 games we need to pick the final score in some games in case of a tie.
