    I was there too and do remember it sounding good, I just don't remember the crowd sounding as pitifully quiet as the boot makes it sound. Great setlist, great show, great crowd and really great seats just to the side of Mike looking across the stage. Now becoming one of my most played boots and it all started with my favourite song ever, Sometimes. Can't really go wrong from there.... ;)

    Hey cheers dude! The missus is on nightshift in Macmillan tonight so it's one of my quieter ones although I do have a bottle of vintage port draining away quickly. Will you be in Manchester this year? I think those shows are going to be special!! :D

    Flying down from here on day of night one and back the morning after the second show. I'm treading on thin ice for doing these shows as we're going to Dublin to get married two weeks later and PJ wasn't in my budget for this year. The powers of persuation! Actually I have to sell everything but my clothes and do the hoovering and dishes until 2015!!! :lol: You're a Scot too eh?

    Was so much better than Dublin the night before. Hope to see more PJ appearances in Belfast. Great city.

    I was warned in advance that the Odyssey was a shit venue but we were pleasantly surprised. It was much better than I'd anticipated but I'd hate to have been anywhere near the back of that huge floor. Security and staff seemed a bit amateur to me though. I was pleasantly surprised too by Tremor Christ, Low Light, No Way, Crazy Mary and Leash but the whole set was great bar maybe Amongst The Waves which is a bit of a set killer for me. Sometimes, DTE and Animal is a great way to start a show!! :D

    Was best gig outta Dublin-Belfast-London shows... Loved the whole Brendan O'Brien birthday tribute thingy, was sitting right beside Mike, funny seeing them behind sheet recording video then whole crowd singing happy birthday...

    Me too, had to laugh at the everyone going Shhhhhhh, made more noise than the ones shouting!!!!

    I too thought the Belfast was by far the best gig out of Dublin / Belfast and Hyde Park - Wasn't Belfast the one some guy brought their whole wedding party to the concert and Eddie dedicated a song to them for their first dance, "Amonst the waves" I think it was???
