    i really dont care for sheldon but love the show and watch it faithfully...

    i've seen sheldon in many many interviews, Leno/Letterman, etc etc and...

    his personality in real life is exactly like he is on the show...

    so i hate to bag on him but is he really an actor when he's basically just playing himself???

    Howard and Rosz (sp) are by far my favs... and i love amy farefeller...she's frickin great!!!

    All my opinions...of course....

    I heart this show. I have been obsessed and renting it from netflix. I was unsure about it at first but after I really paid attention realized how well written it is.

    I started watching because of Johnny Galecki, used to watch Roseanne and was glad to see he was on a new show.

    Jim Parsons is really funny and he is really like Sheldon, it's kind of scary. Love his interactions with Wil Wheaton (and more recently Brent Spiner)

    Yeah I saw an interview with Jim Parsons...it was weird how close he is to Sheldon..

    I started watching it when it first aired, but quit about five or six episodes into it. My wife just recently started watching it after her family got her to watch a few recent episodes. In turn, I've gotten back into watching it again. From what I recall, the writing is a lot better than in the early episodes and it's interesting to see how the characters developed. I really need to go back and rewatch the series to get caught up in the overall story arc (ie how in the world did Howard get a fiance and where did Blossom come from)...
