Isn’t it something
when you realise
that you destroyed the sun,
and it’s very tears
became the candles
that helped you find your way.
And that you spent that journey
drinking whiskey
and wine
and getting high
just to see yourself
sober.
Pepper- I am faith without religion, without bruised knees and pleas for forgiveness...

I am tired; my heart is

the sun stands I will fight
    no more forever."

    Shadows sit
    beneath my eyelids
    silhouettes
    pirouetting perfectly
    they feel like rain
    in search of an alter
    candles flame
no need to close my eyes
    anymore
    to see my darkness
    unfold
    and hold, the
    visions
    I once held
    so close, I
    almost closed
    my eyes
    forever.

Not gonna lie, I'm a bit aroused.
