The show is in 2 weeks! Anyone know what time the bands start kicking it on 6/15? Someone posted PJ start time at 22:30. Does that sound right?

With a little luck I might actually find my way to Parchi Di Mestre. Anyone have any last minute tips, other than getting there early!

    Thanks!

Thanks for the info. I'll be sure to check out a few bands. Looks like there will be a massive crowd...

I've checked some forecasts and apparently we're in for some stormy weather on the 15th.

I still believe we'll be OK for the festivals at least and outdoor venues.
    I hope so. :o

I've found out that this festival usualy has a separate front section, you can get in with a wristband if you come early enough

Do you know how early and what wristband?
PJ is last on Friday, there will be other bands on the same stage before, so I'm not sure what do you mean by coming early.

I guess. They open the doors at 10:00. The wirstband let's you go in and out the front rows basicaly. I've read there were 3 divided sections last year, the venue is bigger this year so there will probably more.

No way I can get there so early :(.
But still not sure how you get a wristband? Do they have a limited number of them, so only the ones that come really early manage to get them?

that sucks.. never heard that at a festival..that they have a front area like at Reading, and limit the number of people in it (by only letting people in when others come out), fine..but that :(
I don't want to have to get there so early when there's nothing I particularly want to see until something like 7pm...was looking forward to a lie in after and exhausting 3 days and 3 just as bad after..

    plus there's 2 stages...so there's a wristband for each?

I don't think the demand for the second stage will be THAT big to require wristbands.

Can you take this wristband off? Because if you can...than maybe...we can make deals with some people who are fans of other bands and not so much Pearl Jam, that they lend us their wristbands for the time of the PJ concert. OR MAKE THEM DO IT!!! :D
