if this is going to be an american century it is certainly off to a shitty start with the last decade being so terrible.."You can tell the greatness of a man by what makes him angry." - Lincoln

BERLIN, N.H. – Former President George H.W. Bush revealed today he is supporting Mitt Romney in his bid for the presidency, potentially adding further momentum to the former Massachusetts governor’s campaign.
“I think Romney is the best choice for us,” the former President Bush told the Houston Chronicle. “I like [Texas Governor Rick] Perry, but he doesn’t seem to be going anywhere; he’s not surging forward.”
On Romney, he was effusive.
“He’s a fine person,” he said. “I just think he’s mature and reasonable – not a bomb-thrower.”
Romney, on a bus tour across New Hampshire today, spoke with the former president.
“I’m very encouraged by the support of President Bush,” Romney told reporters in Berlin before knocking on doors. “As you can tell there’s growing momentum for this effort, here in New Hampshire and across the country.
“I must admit this is much more important to me personally than even politically,” Romney added.
Of former House speaker Newt Gingrich, Bush said, “I’m not his biggest advocate.”0 -

America has to lead the free world.
And the free world has to lead the entire world. The right course under President -- Obama's plans is to shrink our military, thinking somehow if we appease or accommodate the tyrants of the world, that the world will be safer. He's wrong.
Show me again where he says "this is going to be an American century" because I sure don't see it.
Someone saying he IS pooping is a great deal different than saying he HAS to poop.0 -

He needs all the practice he can get. He is embarrassingly terrible at golf. I feel bad that people can see how bad he is at it.
p.s. I know I just served up a fastball right down the middle so save the replace "golf" with "being president" jokes, etc."First they ignore you, then they ridicule you, then they fight you, then you win ."

he said it during a debate. are you doubting he said those exact words? he did.0 -
Mitt is a damn joke no offence.~ Enjoy The Struggle0

None taken. I appreciate the reasoned debate you have provided!
Woot!
In other news. Romney said he probably wouldn't release his tax returns if nominated. Makes sense to me. All the haters would focus on the percent paid (as a result of cap gains instead of ordinary income) and probably not even think about AMOUNT paid.
Mitts the shit0 -
Mitt has no problem changing his tune if he thinks he can win voters. Coming from MA, I know.
MA healthcare, that he helped institute, is essentially a macro version of Obamacare that he so defiantly rallies against. But now that he wants to oppose Obama he is oh-so-against Obamacare. Funny how that happens.
And it's just so rough living in a state where the economy is better than most other states, and most citizens have healthcare. Seems to be working just fine here. Thanks, Mitt!Bright eyed kid: "Wow Typo Man, you're the best!"

Yeah, sure is nice to see someone who can work with both parties huh? Nice to see someone who isn't so polarizing.

why won't mitt disclose his tax returns??

he demanded to see obama's birth certificate and questioned his citizenship, so i demand to see his tax returns to prove he is no criminal tax cheat...fair enough??
also, krugman calls romney "utterly fraudulent"...

Well, to the quotes that you are using in your subject heading and the following quote that you posted of Gov. Romney, I see no instance of him saying that it is GOING TO BE an American century.0
