Just watched this last night was great!

"Man no like smart ape." &

My other favorite scene is where Caesar communicates with the ape Maurice, he uses a bundle of sticks to explain how an ape alone is weak but apes together are strong.

Im look even the apes know better....

    I thought it was amazing.

Analogically brought up a lot of questions. Morally and ethically.

Some more basic and straight forward like the ethical treatment of animals and genetic manipulation.

I mean its not like its this classic masterpiece.

I just enjoyed its simple play.

I havent seen a movie in a long time. Probably the first in over a year.

I was really surprised at how much I enjoyed it, didn't have big expectations for it but thought it was great.

but...I'm a huge James Franco fan so it pains me to say this, but did anyone else think he was kind of 'phoning it in' for the most part? his performance just seemed kind of insincere in a few of the more emotional moments.

I think that's the key to a lot of films these days. Go in with no expectations.
