I couldn't get a ticket for amsterdam, but a friend of mine bought 3 tickets via livenation.. one wristband is for her other friend, and one for herself. Do you think I also can get one?? I hope so... this is the worst week ever..
Let me check if someone has an extra..this is so fucked up situation Marj..

RE: my post above Marj's. It is exactly the same situation, Dimi. 3 people, 2 bands.

I doubt there is any way to solve this but if someone comes up with a solution that will get us all the bands, it would be great.
we're all going to the same place...
  • So I bought 1 ticket. My friend (who isn't a t=TC member) also bought one. Will I get a wristband for her too?

There are many members in the same situation... Tickets sold out in minutes...There were problems with non european cards, there was people that due to the short notice couldn't be in front of a computer, so one person bought tickets for more than one or two 10C members, some cases the one who bought is not a 10C member... I ally hope 10C will help us out... All members with tickets deserves a wristband :)

See first post. However, we must limit the wristband to 2 wristbands per order.

From the 10c email sent on Thursday : We will be issuing EARLY ENTRY wristbands to eligible Ten Club members who are able to obtain Standing General Admission tickets through the official public on sale ticketing vendors.

So according to this info you should get 2 wristbands. Snake in the grass = you bought only 1 ticket. And I'm still not sure about the added gigs.

I strongly suggest you contact 10c directly explaining your situation.

I found a tenclub partner with a spare ticket.. So it's solved for me now I guess.. I e-mailed the tenclub with my 'problem', this is what they replied:

As long as your friend was an eligible pre-sale member and has GA tickets, she will be eligible for 2 wristbands. She will have to collect these wristbands herself.

    The third tenclubmember is screwed..

  • I got all upset about the wristband situation at first, because I didn't manage to get tickets, but a friend who forgot to renew her membership did. "Oh no, no wristbands!" (Besides, the company she bought them from probably is considered as a third party tout, even though we didn't know it at that time.) Then I managed to get seated tickets later in the day from the official source. "Yay, wristbands!"
We thought I'd get the bands with my seated tickets and after that we'd swap the tickets among our group so that me and one other would get early entry with the wristbands to the floor, some of us would get in a bit later on the floor and two would have the seated tickets, which are not dismally badly situated.
Then I realized only members with standing tickets will get the wristbands. "Oh woe! Again!"

But then I took a deep breath and realized this: After the total farce of a ticket sale, we are extremely lucky to have tickets in the first place, especially for the whole group of friends. It'll be a wonderful experience whether we are a few meters closer to the band or not. It'll be even more wonderful if we stay together as a group and enjoy everything together. (Minus the two seated people. :( )

Just another point of view to the discussion, for what it's worth.
  • alright, I'm confused right now...

As long as both tickets are on your name and you are an eligible pre-sale member you will get 2 wristbands:-)

i don't think we know that yet...as far as i know we have to wait until there's an update information about the wristbands by 10C...hopefully the shows that were added so spontaneously will get wristbands too! (:

Well I don't think it's much of a difference with the other shows.. I think 75% of tenclub tickets also went back in public sale.... so also in these two shows being an eligible pre-sale member and GA tickets on your name should get ye the wristbands I don't see a chance of a security issue here..

So are the wristbands only for those who renewed their 10C memberships before Dec 5th?

Since I still haven't seen an answer for my question, I'm gonna bump this and hope for better luck this time...

I'll have a go one more time. Can someone please help me with this?

If you were not a 10c member on Dec 5th you weren't eligible and therefor you don't get wristbands.

    OK, thanks for your answer.

Now I'm just curious how this will work once 10C hands these out at the arenas. Do they have a computer where they check your name, membership number and how long you have been a member? Or do you just show your membership card to the people who hands the wristbands out?
I got a membership card when I renewed my membership, but it was a pdf that I printed out and filled out my name/number/expire date myself...now I'm not the type of person who would print a new card and put "Dec 4th", but with these kind of cards it would be easily done if someone desperately wanted and wristband without being eligible.

Say you would have to show ID just as if you were picking up TenClub tickets... They would have your name if you're eligible & you just have to prove its you. That membership card thingy is just to have, not really for proper use...

  • Wristbands are pointless IMO.

If they had a cordoned off "inner circle" they would be worth it, but early entry doesn't get you anywhere really.

    Right on.

Springsteen shows have this "inner circle" for those who get there early and it works like a charm. You get a wristband = you can go have a drink, take a bathroom break and still get back pretty close to the stage.

  • Sorry Guys, maybe I've missed something...
I got an e-mail that info on wristband is going to be sent this week, but so far nothing...
Do you already know how to get them?
I bought tickets to Amsterdam and Berlin, trough public sale..
  • The only problem with an "inner circle" for a pearl jam show is that most of the floor would be the inner circle anyway!

San Siro 2009 had a pit. Granted, it was fairly big but with a wristband at least you could go out and come back and be sure you'd be closer than most of the crowd. I'd love it if they had the same thing at PJ shows, Early Entry in itself is pretty pointless unless you actually have a designated area inside the arena.
  • My experience of pearl jam shows in the UK is that they pretty much resemble a football (soccer) type scenario.

The guys who come onto the floor loaded with beer just as pj take the stage will always get to the front, wristband or not.
