I don't really know what to do!
I scored tickets for the Berlin and Amsterdam show. My wife Kathi, also a TC member, tried to get tickets for Berlin too. The reason is, we want to invite my sister and her partner to come to a PJ concert for the first time. I bought my tickets with my membership, she tried to get the Berlin tickets with here membership. She had the tickets in her cart but got the message that she is not able to get them because a person in the same household already bought tickets for this show!!!???
I emailed TC and wait for a reply. How can it be that we pay 2 times $ 50 for our international membership to get access to TC tickets but are not allowed to get them? Its the first time that i am really disappointed about the TC policy/service.
Here is my question: if my wife tries to get Berlin tickets through the general sale, will we get the wristbands in Berlin, or will they tell us there that we are married, we are sharing the same address, and therefore we are not allowed to get a second pair of wristbands?!
wow, that sucks.
but since they specified that you can only get 2 wristbands per member, I think you should be fine with general sale tickets. they can't really punish you for being married.
I'm also quite curious as to how this wristband business will work out. What was the usual system, did you pick them up at venue will call? Or at a special booth outside?
Usually you pick them up at the TC booth at the venue. At the Wuhlheide there always was a special TC area which you could only enter with your wristband. Really cool! Great time...meeting all the other board members in person!
I was there last year! Great wee bar. Although, i did end up very drunk and look at the setlist on line the next day

Got myself 2 MEN Arena tickets for Manchester via Crowdsurge (god knows how!!!) but i've been countless gigs there (including PJ 2009) and having a wristband wont mean a thing when you get standing on the floor there. Not sure how other venues will be fixed though.
"You cannot receive more than two wristbands per order. If other eligible members in your party want to get wristbands, they need to purchase their own pair of tickets."
With the pressure it is to obtain tix in the first place? So me and my TC friend arrive with 2 of our friends we actually gotta split? 1tc + 1friend doesnt work all of a sudden eighter?
this last 3 days have been f'ed up! TC is scary...
If it's a good cause, I'll play just about anything.

According to the text only 2 of us are getting wristbands. Im sure im not mistaking... You cannot get more than two wristbands per order man. Doesnt matter if hes a ten club member. I bought the tickets so my membership is the only valid one .. correct?

Yeah, so never mind about the 15 minute early entry and just stay together anyway!
I'm gonna give my wristband up so our friend can have her kids be up front with the early entry, while the rest of us rock out in the back. Who says you need to be up front to have a good time?
115 bucks for half a haircut by a novice? I want my money back!
I understand that... but i kinda wanted them to have the somewhat "feeling" you get when enter thru the ten club entrance and so on.. theres something to it.... Personally i dont care that much anymore but sometimes you wanna show your things from the best side End of discussion.. i aint gonna stop whine.. just made my mind up

but you better hope you don't have to piss or get a beer once you claim your spot.
Exactly what I am fearing!!!
Gonna have to dehydrate myself that day
OK seriously so there will be tons of us 10C'ers in diapers at the stage!?! LMAO after 20 years of the bands history I think it is a bit early for some of us to be attending the show wearing a diaper!! I'd prefer to hold it!

Can somebody provide a rookie with a description of what these wristbands are all about? I've got 10C tickets for Stockholm and Oslo. My only other shows were reserved seating in Toronto.
Thanks in advance!
early access to general admission area before the non-wristband ticket holders are allowed to enter the venue.
So we have added advantage in getting closer to the stage
Theoratically.
But frankly, early entry was worth it in 06 when there was only 300 people getting wristbands, by 07 they had doubled that and there wasn't that much point anymore unless you queued up all day long (and from very early). This time when every 10c member with floor ticket will get one, it will probably be utterly pointless (and impractical as the early entry is only 15mn, and you can't get 1000+ people through security check, through a single entrance, in 15mn. Aside from the fact that managing a queue that size is utterly impossible and there'll be pure chaos).
I hope I'm wrong since I was lucky enough to get 10c tickets for all the shows, but I'm not holding my breath. and I'm tired of the queuing, and the abuse when trying to keep it ordered.. good luck to anyone who tries!
I don't really know what to do!

Here is my question: if my wife tries to get Berlin tickets through the general sale, will we get the wristbands in Berlin, or will they tell us there that we are married, we are sharing the same address, and therefore we are not allowed to get a second pair of wristbands?!
actually, if you have 2 membership in the same house, doesn't matter, you're each entitled to 2 wristbands. I've got quite a few PJ couple friends and they each can buy their own pair of tickets.
beside how would tehy know you're married? you could be father and daughter, brother and sister, cousins..
Its been a long time since i have seen them but perhaps as a compensation, 10C could look back into a 'golden circle' at the front for 10C member wristband holders?
I agree with Chrisilein, as i often go with friends who are also 10C members we usually have no problem through 10C getting our tickets separately and going together however with the general sale we didnt want to risk that one of us might get tickets and the other not so decided to get a group of 4 tickets. If you track which members have a wristband allocated for the show why can you not provide more than 2 per group if the group provides all members numbers?
Yep, they could just provide 2 wristband PER member, so if you bought 6 tickets, but can provide 3 10c numbers, then you get 6 wristbands.
That would still be fair.
what wouldn't be is to give 6 wristbands to only 1 10c member.
Isnt the rule that if you have standing tickets you can get a wristband, I have seats for MEN so wont be getting a wristband (wouldn't need to get in early anyways - thats going to be a very drunked show for me).
the 10c email says
We have released the unsold Ten Club presale ticket inventory into the public on sale inventory, which will take place Thursday-Sunday (Full public on sale schedule is listed below).
We will be issuing EARLY ENTRY wristbands to eligible Ten Club members who are able to obtain Standing General Admission tickets through the OFFICIAL PUBLIC ON SALE TICKETING VENDORS.
i got my (standing) ticket through the O2 priority sale so i'm assuming that doesn't count, but once you got through, had the ticket in your basket and clicked on 'buy' it took you to the TicketBastard website to make the actual purchase... so does it get me a wristband or not...?
it's an official vendor, it counts (beside you get the tix from ticketmaster, your confirmation email says nothing about O2). So yeah you should defiantly get a wristband. But then again you never know with 10c
I'm also quite curious as to how this wristband business will work out. What was the usual system, did you pick them up at venue will call? Or at a special booth outside?
you normally get them at the same time you pick up your 10c ticket (which is normally either separate windows at will call, or a booth, depending on the venue).. so not sure how they'll arrange it this time.

words.
I've made the mistake of queuing there last time.. no point!
Other venues are normally better, as in they only have 1 entrance!
I still need a spare Oslo ticket please. Didn't manage to get ANY Oslo tickets. Anyone?
2 standing tickets for Berlin would be awesome as well...
Thx!!!
hi . im a new ten club member , i got tickets for the manchestrer show, can anyone tell me how i go about getting wristbands ?
cheers .
You'll get the wristband at the venue from the 10C booth.

My friend bought three tickets for three 10C members. I'm the third wheel here as I won't have a wristband and my friends will either be forced to compromise their own concert experience to accommodate the fact that I won't have early entry, or I'll be paying an extraordinary amount of money to see a concert (70 euros!) all on my own without the friends I've spent the last 7 concerts standing next to. Sure, my membership is currently in the grace period but we'd all have wristbands if my other buddy could have taken time off work to buy tickets too. But he couldn't.
Is it the fairest solution? I would suggest that as 10c have 7 months to think this through and organise it, they could have found another solution to make sure all 10C members get the deal that we pay for in our membership. Here's one idea of the top of my head: maybe 10C members forward their confirmation e-mails to 10C as proof of purchase and 10C mail two wristbands per confirmation to the members address or send a special e-mail back to be printed and shown at the venue on concert day to receive a band.
That took me about 8 seconds to think up. It's not that difficult to make sure all 10C members with tickets get a band, it's just not convenient and that is why the "you can buy six but we give you two" compromise is all we get.
I love this club and I appreciate the work that is put in to this band but when things go badly wrong paying members should not lose out on part of the package we expect in our membership.
Right im so confused. I somehow managed to get my pre-sale tickets for Manchester before everything turned to crap and messed up. So i was wondering is it just 10c members who can get the wristbands or is it anyone now?

I bought two standing general admission tickets to the Copenhagen show through the official public on sale ticketing vendors. My local official vendor is my local postoffice. I didn't buy them online. I got the tickets and a receipt for the tickets. They DID ask me for name, address and phonenumber at the post office, but I can't see that on my www.billetnet.dk profile. Does that make me eligible to get two wristbands? :?:
I couldn't get a ticket for amsterdam, but a friend of mine bought 3 tickets via livenation.. one wristband is for her other friend, and one for herself. Do you think I also can get one?? I hope so... this is the worst week ever..
