The 10club should offer one year extensions to us since we all have been victimized and once the perpetrator is caught, sue the person accordingly for these damages to begin with.
  • If ifs and buts were candy and nuts.....we all would have a merry festivus!

  • I don't even really know how to put this into words but all of this seems a little strange to me. Everyone here seems to be complaining about a lack of information (which is perfectly legit!!) and a lot of those people go on and on about what they think went wrong and yet almost nobody seems to have any real information regarding anything that happened during the last 1.5 days on the side of 10c management... I mean, we simply do not know what really happened. That's a fact.
So while I feel it's appropriate to address the issue of the flow of information (or lack of it), I personally feel that it's not really decent criticism to be judgmental about the process in general without knowing all the facts. There really might be a little more to it than we realize.
This might be an unpopular post, but I had to say it.
Off to bed now. Have to get a few hours of sleep before the sale ;)
Good luck to everyone for tomorrow!!

KInd of reminds me of OJ Simpson saying he would be searching for the perpetrator of the murders, all he needed to do was look in the mirror.

I see what you're saying and initially felt the same way. But for them to allege there is a saboteur amongst us would be be tantamount to yelling fire in a crowded movie theater. There must be some solid evidence; I just hope we're kept informed as this is now very interesting. And I get there are more serious problems in the world than us fans not getting tickets to some rock concerts but I got nothing else going on in my boring life :D , to which I am great full in some ways; but presently bored nonetheless. Let's get him

I got them that way. Tomorrow is the general sale for everyone.

I'd expect a lot of 10clubbers to get shut out as scalpers know that PJ tickets go for a pretty penny on Ebay.

I was asleep when the e-mail arrived (00.19) ... and only saw it after the Oslo sale had happened. Just disappointed I didn't even get a chance to try and get a ticket :(

  • 19 years a fan, 9 years in the 10 club, and for the very first time, I really feel my faith waver. Not by the band, not by the music, but in my belief that the Peal Jam fan experience was somehow special, that we were all - members and 10C staff - on the same side becuase of mutual love for this band and the sheer thrill of being involved with it.

I have always been one of those who took the 10C's side when people slagged them off, because I have always wanted to believe that they did, in the end of the day have our best interests at heart. But I find it hard to find any evidence of that in this instance. Sabotage or not, it's because of the distainful refusal to communicate, I feel taken for granted, and badly let down by those I had such geniune faith in.

Something special has been lost. I just find the whole thing really saddening.

so i managed to get 4 tickets for the show in stockholm. 4 people, 2 of them are 10c members. we have 1 GA ticket, and three different seats, two of them in the last corner of the Globe. To avoid any scenario like this, we became 10c members.
and now, on my parents 25th anniversary journey, they cant even enjoy the music they love toghter. i really dont care about all the other shit that happend during the last couple of days, but this is driving me nuts.

i am not one to lose my cool and rant about how awful the 10c is, because ive always felt that regardless of competence they where trying there best, unfortunatly, this is not the impression i get from them now

I (we) scored for Berlin, Copenhagen. For Stockholm, seats in Block C... So far the more (standing = 10c tickets, what I only believe when I am there) or less (seats in Block C!) good news. Still looking for Stockholm standing tickets and Oslo anyway. Amsterdam will be ours on Saturday!

I am VERY disappointed about the way things went. Not talking about technical difficulties. I can not judge these.
But WHY NOT take a certain amount of standing tickets from the public presale and reserve them for the 10c? I got to bed at 12:30 am and read the email at 9:02 am... we are talking about European time presale and not Seattle afternoon tea time hours. Damn! So, giving the 10c tickets to the public presale supports scalpers! I know, there are always scalpers...I can not believe why we pay our Fan Club bucks and have to face this crap. I am not the person who expects perfect results coming out of a thing when you spend money. That is not the thing how the world works or should do. But as a person and as a 10c member I feel treated very badly. Information policy: Poor. And then: WHY DID YOU THROW THE FANCLUB TICKETS INTO THE PUBLIC PRESALE ALMOST AT LAST MINUTE?!?!

I am very disappointed and angry. I think I can ONLY rely on the kindness and generosity of the FANS I connect with. Hail Hail!

First, i was lucky enough to score tickets for the Berlin and Amsterdam show at the crowdsurge presale! I'm not going to complain about the technical problems and the server breakdown (or whatever the problem was...) because i expected it to be like this! So far so good!
My wife Kathi, also a TC member, tried to get tickets for Berlin too. The reason is, we want to invite my sister and her partner to come to a PJ concert for the first time. I scored my tickets with my membership, she tried to get the Berlin tickets with her membership. She had the tickets in her cart but got the message that she is not able to get them because a person in the same household already bought tickets for this show!!!???

I emailed TC and hope to get a reply. How can it be that we pay 2 times $ 50 for our international memberships to have access to TC tickets but are not allowed to get them? Its the first time that i am really disappointed about the TC policy/service.

today the general sale started! We could try again to get two tickets but what if we come to the venue and the TC stuff tells us that we won't get a second pair of wristbands because we are married and have the same address.

One thing is clear: Kathi (my wife) will not renew her membership again!

I'm with Dunkman. Never had a problem getting tickets via Ticketmaster.

It's not 1995 anymore, if people still have a problem with Ticketmaster then its quite sad. And if anyone says TM rip-off people with their charges, just go and have a look at 10C first.

So far i've managed to get 2 tickets through the O2 pre-sale for Manchester, but i need to buy two more for friends. I've been pretty disgusted with 10c's handling of this whole sorry affair. I also think that the use of the word 'sabotage' is pretty pathetic; we're talking about a rock band, not a government!

I know about 10 people who will be at the gig and the talk of a protest against 10c has been muted. This wouldn't be directed at the band, but rather it would be aimed at those who do a shitty job of running the organisation. Pearl Jam: Good. Ten Club: Bad.

Also, i've been shocked at the level of censorship that the 10c has shown during this period. We're talking about a band with a history of protesting against censorship!!

Finally, what are 10c and the band gonna do to make this up to everyone in 10c?!?!

After following this story I am thinking the same thing. I mean my number is in the low-mid 100,000's so I don't want to let it go. But if I was in the 400,000's I am not sure I would bother. I mean it appears that you can get most of the Christmas singles on ebay for less than the price of an Analog membership, and ticketing is unreliable at best. In this type of situation a digital membership seems even worse since it basically a $20 service fee that gives you the opportunity to buy tickets. To me that is not much difference then TM chargingyou a $20 service fee for a pair of tickets.

I am so infuriated and disappointed to a level i never thought i would had to experience here !

I've had been as devoted fan as most people here for 20 years. PJ means my life. I owe them being alive, literally. In my youth i had put up with so much difficult emotional stuff, but PJ was the cord holding me from damnation or even self inflicted death. After life has been also pretty tough by moments, but one thing i can rely still on it's their magical spiritual music to hold on my soul. Anyway, i always end up suffering with the public sales, servers jamming and leaving me out of tickets in matter of minutes, i can say i had pay double the price for at least half of the shows i had been attended. So this time i said, enough.. not gonna go through all that anguish again. For what? Exactly the same and even worst? The waiting drove me mad, no answers, no communication, no tickets... just sadness on this whole experience. Still it is hard for me to believe that Pearljamist can be so careless with the rest of us. But anyway, i paid the membership to have access to tickets. Now i have to go to e-bay again cause this morning servers were as usual taken by the usual scrappers that make their living knowing that a PJ concert is a mystical need to feel for a night life can be fair and beautiful, thanks to the magic of most fundamental five artist there is to redeem suffering souls. The point about renovating membership is irrelevant. It is that i paid to have a chance for standing tickets without having to go elsewhere for easily double price. No apologies, no solution. Just "not our problem". It is hard to keep on writing without letting the frustration become anger. So i better stop here. The same story that everyone else. My comment after the message from CS was posted here was as respectful and hard-felt as this one. within the discussion guidelines. Why was deleted? Anyway. So many issues and disappointments. I gonna try to forget this 10c experience and just try to keep on focus in the coming tour, and listen PJ to recover a sense of well being. All i can say: PJ has nothing to do with 10c! That is soooo clear for me now! And i am so disappointed for the whole thing. Wristbands? Probably not even that i'm expecting any more to get. At least we have each other as jamily. 10c is excluded for me from that family. They just scrapping us as everyone else out there profiting from the beauty PJ has created and let's hope will continue creating for the next 20 years. Hail hail to PJ. Whipping due to 10c. sometimes only the F word help. F5 :(
