Amazon rocks!! Received today my "Temp Out Of Stock" preorder & a 2nd one will be here by the end of the week that was ordered last Friday. Cheap & free shipping too. Pretty sweet score!
mine showed up in a 12.5x15x3 box with no packing material in it. no bubble stuff, no shrinkwrapped-to-a-cardboard-base thing, nothing except the record and receipt. i've ordered many lps from amazon with varying packing quality, but never with absolutely nothing in it. the corner is damaged slightly, which i don't really mind, but i am just surprised that with the effort they've recently put into making packing better that something like this can happen.

Same here... Hopefully they don't keep using that style.... I don't know about yours but on mine the plastic "protection" was actually connected to the plastic wrap of the album, almost like it was heat sealed and melted together... I sure hope they don't stick with that style.
