Amazon PJ20 Orders Update

THIS IS NOT ME COMPLAINING!

I called Amazon's customer support today to find out if my copy of the PJ20 vinyl that I ordered through them will be fulfilled. The woman I spoke to was able to determine that the number they'll be getting in stock will be enough to fulfill my order. Looks like using Amazon as my backup might have paid off.

So if you bought a copy at Amazon and you're wondering if you're order is going to get fulfilled then you can probably call them to find out for sure.

    Um, no. But "I'm very sorry, sir, but it looks as though we won't have enough copies to fulfill your order" would be perfectly acceptable. Not to mention Amazon, from my experience, are very good for customer service.. I have yet to be anything but perfectly happy with purchases made from there.

    I love their customer service. I've been doing business with them for year's. :)

    We'll see what happens the next few day's before the December 13th official release date on the PJ20 Vinyl copies.

    I just had the following chat with a customer service rep....seems that they don't have enough to fill all the pre-orders they took. :/

    Me:Hello, I am writing concerning order #---. After I placed the order, I noticed that multiple online retailers had to cancel pre-sale orders because Sony cut allocation. Can you tell me if this order will be fill for certain?

    Yes, we're working to get more stocks from the suppliers ship your order by December 16.
    Me:Is there currently enough stock to cover my order?
    Jeba:No, currently we don't have stock to fulfill the order. We're working to get more stocks.

    Jeba:We don't accept any more orders,if we weren't able to fulfill it. Now, we're not accepting any more orders in out website for this item. But we'll strive to fulfill the orders that we accepted.

    In case it matters the date of the 16th is consistent with what a local independent record store told me.... they told me it was set to be released 12/16 and my preorder would be available after then..... that is a quote

    Wow! Happy days indeed - thanks Demetrios! I was more saying that tongue-in-cheek though... I'm 21, got lots of time to listen to these vinyls - what's a bit of waiting? :)

    A quick update. I ordered mine on 11/13, and it shipped today! So if you bought yours before that then it's a safe bet that it's going to be fulfilled.

    i ordered too late (11/25) and i was told they're out of stock.

    I bought one on the 24th of November, and received this in my order comfirmation:

    Delivery estimate: Jan. 10, 2012 - Jan. 31, 2012
    1 "Pearl Jam Twenty (Vinyl)"

    Shipping from Dec. 13, 2011

    So, I hope to find an email in my inbox about the shipping as well!

    I got an email Saturday saying it shipped and it included a tracking number. I ordered November 20th.

    Looking forward to spinning this next weekend!
