  • hi,

regular berlin tickets will be personalized. public sale starts tomorrow at 10.00 CET.
i planned to buy tc tickets for this show. but i want to be on the safe side, so i will try to get normal tickets tomorrow.
but what should one do with personalized tickets, when i would be able to by tc tickets, if there is a sale for tc members one day? can they be returned or so?
    has anyone information about this?
    thank you! :-)

    best regards

  • I have a feeling that they will not announce anything until Livenation and Tickemasters presales are underway.. I'm guessing alot of people will be trying for tickets from them so Crowdsurge will release presales again when demand isn't so high as the majority of the traffic will be diverted elsewhere, taking the pressure off their own server.

    Just my thoughts.
  • Im getting worked up just reading this stuff and Im in the US not trying for these tix. Its what 6 frickin shows and everybody has to go through this crap? WHats it going to be like if they play a bunch of shows in the US on the next tour? I don't even want to know what its going to be like trying to get tickets! People just want to go see a 2.5 hr show. Most already have to travel a long ass ways to even get a chance of seeing them, and then this crap of sitting and waiting for hours, days, with no communication from the management. Just sad, it really is.

I really wish the Ten Club would follow the ticket distribution model followed by the Dave Matthews Band. Give fan club members a week to request tickets. Randomly select among those who requested to get the tickets.

Servers don't crash. People don't need to access a web site at a specific time. No need to spend an hour of more refreshing screens. No shopping cart problems. No stress.

Ten Club - please consider this model. It works!

Could be a strategy, waiting to take the pressure off, not making any announcement to prevent people from waiting, reading the forum on how members were able to score tickets through other channels, then open up the euhm pre-sale...

Exactly my problem. You won't be able to return them, that's for sure. You can give/sell them to somebody else and have the name changed. They'll need copies of IDs for that and it costs 5 Euro.
  • You guys just don't get it, do you? Ticketing issues EVERY single time there's a presale, and you don't get the reason why...

    Well, here it is...

This Pearl Jam's way of weeding out the bandwagon fans. This has always been their X-factor in their staying power. Any pseudo fans who climbed on board due to Backspacer are probably gone by now, because of this.

You can sell the tickets directly via tickets.de for face value to other people. I did this with one of my Radiohead tickets and it took less than a day to sell it.

Surely you must be sickened by their blatant disregard for their members, though.

How can they not utter a word about what is happening or how they hope to fix it for 30+ hours?

There is no one who can seriously state that they care. They don't. It has now be proven beyond a shadow of a doubt.

    Thank you.
  • Midnight in Copenhagen - I'm calling it quits for tonight.
I'm going to try and stay calm and keep some faith in TC and believe that there will be a (if not pre, then post-) sale for TC members - and not try to get GA tickets.
Am I being stupid and naive?

Am I the only one to fear that something bigger than tecnical issues might have happened? I'm not saying that I think someone has died or anything really horrible like that, but that there could be a reason why TC are not responding ...
But then again - Whenever my mum doesn't pick up the phone, I'm absolutely certain that she's had a stroke and is lying on the floor desperately trying to reach the phone, and then I find out that she's just been to get the laundry or something like that.
So it is probably just me :?

you made my day. had the same thought.
hi to mum. hope she's fine.
    It's Stone's band. I blame him...

    word.

it was always a mess with those tickets. but in the end, i always got the tickets i wanted. i'm relaxed.
  • Stone should run the 10C now when Eddie's taken charge of the band.

I'm going to sleep now. This is a sad and pathetic situation. My god.

Not even a "here we stand for the moment" message in 30 hours? WTF is that?
"Mostly I think that people react sensitively because they know you’ve got a point"
  • I'm gonna suggest that the "blatant disregard" is for legal reasons - I myself do not believe that 10C (and, as some people have said in various discussion threads, that the band members themselves) are happy that the fans/10C members are unhappy.

I will go further and suggest that 10C (and again, perhaps PJ themselves) are exploring every available legal recourse to ensure that us, the "consumers" get what we want - namely tickets.

no i mean it...im very lucky to have my tickets..

  • The waiting drove me mad...
    You're finally here and I'm a mess.
I take your entrance back -
Can't let you roam inside my head.

I don't want to take what you can give
I would rather starve than eat your bread.
I would rather run but I can't walk
Guess I'll lie alone just like before.

    I'll take the varmint's path
Oh and I must refuse your test
A-push me and I will resist
    This behavior's not unique.

I don't want to hear from those who know
They can buy, but can't put on my clothes.
I don't want to limp for them to walk
Never would have known of me before.
I don't want to be held in your debt.
I'll pay it off in blood, let I be wed
I'm already cut up and half dead
I'll end up alone like I began.

Everything has chains, absolutely nothing's changed.
Take my hand, not my picture, spilled my tincture.

I don't want to take what you can give
I would rather starve than eat your breast
All the things that others want for me
Can't buy what I want because it's free
Can't buy what I want because it's free
Can't be what you want because I'm...

    I ain't s'posed to be just fun
Oh, to live and die, let it be done.
I figure I'll be damned - all alone like I began...
    It's your move now...
I thought you were a friend, but I guess I, I guess I hate you...

  • Dear Ten Club Members:

Since the ticketing site problems occurred, we have worked in conjunction with our new ticketing partners at CrowdSurge as they've investigated the reasons for Tuesday's site failure.

As most of you know, Ten Club experienced a ticketing system failure earlier this year, after which we made a decision to switch from our internal ticketing system to a successful state-of-the art ticketing company, CrowdSurge, in order to ensure that Ten Club members would have a seamless pre-sale experience.

CrowdSurge is an independent ticketing company dedicated to the highest level of service for ticket purchasers, and has handled successful ticket sales for comparable sized artists for the last three years.

Given that Tuesday's pre-sale system failure mirrored that of the Ten Club ticketing failure earlier this year -- on entirely different systems, and unrelated to server capacity -- all involved now strongly believe that there has been an act of sabotage from an outside source that has prevented fans from executing their ticket purchases. CrowdSurge and TenClub will conduct further investigation into this matter.

What this means for the current pre-sale:

If you have already successfully purchased tickets, your ticket order is complete and you do not have to await further instructions; you will have received an email confirmation from CrowdSurge. All Ten Club benefits and policies -- including wristbands for early entry -- will remain the same.

The Ten Club pre-sale has now been terminated because neither CrowdSurge nor Ten Club can conduct a successful presale within the time limits before the public on sales begin.

We have released the unsold Ten Club presale ticket inventory into the public on sale inventory, which will take place Thursday-Sunday. (Full public on sale schedule is listed below.)

We will be issuing EARLY ENTRY wristbands to eligible Ten Club members who are able to obtain Standing General Admission tickets through the official public on sale ticketing vendors.

Information on how to obtain wristbands will be sent out next week.

Note: Please know that tickets purchased through third party ticket touts will not be eligible for early entry wristbands.

Public on sale ticket sale links and times are as follows:

But if it's sabotage on an "external source".

Why did the forum crash at the same time but with onlu 200+ members online? I think it still has to do with 10C own servers/database...

And these wristbands, are they for tenclub members only or tenclubmember + a friend?

  • Sabotage? really?

It all boils down to this...The 10c tickets will be sold and the 10c/band doesn't seem to care how tough it is for the fans to purchase them...Just as long as they sale....I hope this isn't true...But, there hasn't nothing done by the 10c/band to prove me wrong...

What the 10c will use is this....We don't guarantee tickets....Just the chance to purchase them....Which most of the time it is a slim chance...

Couldn't they say that they can't comment at this time as they are trying to get the situation sorted? I think people would be happy with anything! From the comments the last few days, it seems like the European fans have really been hassled with waiting for information...from having to drive 90 minutes to access the internet to taking time off from work, etc...

Crowdsurge has said that the ball is in 10Cs court since this morning USA time.....but 10C has not said anything...10C is on here copying and pasting the same message and locking threads rather than responding to people.... I think that is what's disappointing about the entire situation to all the fans on this forum. We know they are there...they know that we are here and people have real questions...yet we hear nothing from them.

Sabotage? Give me a break!!!

Tim Bierman accused some guy of hacking the 10club during the alpine presale because he could see the buy button (as could many people). These people don't have a clue!
