    I'm swedish(living in Norrköping), but I guess I'll write in english, if someone for whatever reason feels the need to know what I wrote and won't have to use babelfish and end up with a superweird translation as usual ^^

    I'll say this, I lolled out loud when I read the thread because 1. This is a great initiative with potential for either disaster or success. 2. It's really random. 3. You got balls for inviting complete strangers to your home.

    I never do stuff like this and I'm not exactly sure if I think its a good idea either (speaking for myself, the whole initiative is really cool, as said.) but, I'm going to Stockholm along with a friend to see Pearl Jam (if we get ahold of the tickets) and she likes stuff like this and I think she'd probably think it would be a fun thing to do. So, on behalf of me and her, we would be delighted to come, neither of us is allergic to dogs and/or afraid of dogs, we both love Pearl Jam even though we won't win any PJ-Trivia competitions, we consider ourselves true fans. We're both social although, speaking for myself this kind of thing is quite weird, but it intrigues me greatly. So I'll have a word with my friend and I'll stay in touch through this thread I suppose!

    If it matters, our ages are 25 (me) and not quite sure but either 21 or 22, lol.

    Yes, I´m aware of what you are trying to say regarding it´s a quite weird thing to do! But really, is it? I´m guessing it´s just being concerned on your part, and I normally dont do this either. Who knows it could end in disaster, but I hope it won´t. And since everyone will hopefully, at least... have one thing in common, I find it hard to believe people would show up with malicious thoughts, or bad intents....? But on the other hand I would not like to cancel this because of fear of "disaster"! And no, age really is not a factor, we´re all fans and I´m a lot older than you, but Im sure there would be a few even older than me, haha! (I hope) otherwise I WILL feel old....

    The plan is more or less: A BYO afternoon garden party, maybe with some BBQ:ing going on, people bringing something to eat/drink, meeting some likeminded people, having a relaxed and nice time, some music etc.
    We probably wouldnt be here all night, and Im sure a lot of people would like to meet in town later at night. Getting back to their hotels/hostels etc... Sounds good in print, but who knows...

    I've got tickets (from ticnet that is) and will probably travel from Alingsas on Friday, so if there's room for me and my wife I'll be there :)

    since I haven't seen a thread about the stockholm show yet, I'll just throw this in here: I'll have a spare 10C ticket for the Stockholm show that I'm willing to part with...so if any of you just need one and don't get lucky in the next fanclub or other sale, let me know.

    we are going as well. never been to sweden, really looking forward to!

    pre-party sounds great. but i'm not sure if my parents will join us as well. and, ehm, parents are generally not very welcomed at parties, aren't they? :)

    Parents are welcome, it´s hopefully going to be a relaxed party. This wont be about whos drunk or not, more about meeting, in a relaxed place and having a good time, if that makes any sense....

    summer, stockholm, you, garden, dogs, pearl jam: sounds really nice.
    and, of course, wouldn't make much sense to pass out drunk (one night) before the show. not for me at least. well, passing out never makes sense to me..
