i think it's weird that people can still preorder the vinyl from bestbuy.com and yet will pay over $200 on ebay for it. :shock:0

I'm shocked you can even buy vinyl @ a Best Buy store. Their stores up here in Canada don't sell vinyl in stores or online. You can still place pre-orders with them.

I know I have been complaining about several things regarding the Goods section these last few months, but I must also say that in the last 20 years of being a member, I never ever had problems with TenClub merch. They always handled it very well, and used to ship pretty fast. I can only imagine with so many people buying stuff, that a whole new system has to be set up to keep everybody happy. I am not talking about the badly timed limited releases and high shipping prices, but whenever there is a problem with an order, they usually take care of things pretty well. When you send them an email, they reply with good information. I know I missed out on the deluxe DVD edition simply because I did not have the money for it to spent on it while it was on the website. I bought the PJ20 vinyl in time, and everything went smoothly. I just have to wait until it gets to my doorstep, probably in 3 months (I now live in Australia, and that's usually the time for TenClub goods to arrive).
I think we are still lucky that we get cool vinyl releases from PJ. Also, this past weekend we had the "I'm Broke" broke sale, another chance to buy some goods for a better price. I think we have many chances to buy something nice here. So for that, I also want to give my thumbs up for TenClub.
Now, after writing this, I hope I didn't jinx my PJ20 vinyl arriving safely in Perth...EEK!!"I'll ride the wave...where it takes me.."0 -
Just a Tip....today's 12-7-11 and sadly I just found out about this limited edition vinyl. Since amazon.com and some of these other outlets are not taking anymore pre-orders and since obviously I wasn't fast enough to snatch up a copy from 10C....my options were limited. What I did was call a local indie record shop to see if there were getting in the vinyl. They stated that since it's a limited edition, the distributor was not going to automatically send copies but that copies need to be requested. Since the vinyl is not released until next tuesday, the record shop said they still had time to request 1 or 2 copies for the record store from the distributor. He checked the distributor and said the price he could sell it to me for was $66.99. Since it was an indie record shop he wanted me to leave a deposit but said he was confident that he would be able to secure 1 or 2 copies for his distributor. Since this limited edition vinyl is going to be hard to find, I still think that some of you have a chance going through these small record shops. I won't be happy until they confirm that the vinyl actually sent by distributor but that's at least better than trying to pay triple on ebay. to add further, here is site in which you can see which records shops participated in RECORD STORE DAY in 2011. Some of these indie record shops are going to be your best shot at seeing if they request 1 or 2 copies of the album from their distributor. http://www.recordstoreday.com/Venues Call them up and ask them if they are expecting the album. You'd be surprised that some of them are in fact set to get 1 or 2 and nobody has reserved them. The one record store that I had success with today ask me to put a deposit that way he knew for sure I wasn't going to bail on buying the album since is . Let me know if you any of you guys have success with this. We need to try to help each other out!Pearl Jam @ Austin City Limits Festival, Austin,TX -Oct 2009

Its showing up on Reckless Records' (Chicago) site for $69.99. You can order online, but I would call first as the online isnt updated as quickly as their actual stock.
