Tonight was rough. I am born, raised, and always will be a Buckeye but I also spent some time in the Raleigh/Durham area and have been a Duke fan since about 1986. Being at The Schott for the game tonight and not really being able to root for either team was really strange but i must say...
...GODDAMN THAT WAS A BEATING! If Ohio State plays with that much fire and passion on both ends of the ball all year they will roll the Big Ten.
Draymon the Dancing Bear and MSU...goodnight...The Grinch Who Stole Christmas and the Wisconsin Badgers...adios...12th year senior Zack Novak and the mishitigan skunk bears...no chance.

Same! It was really, really weird. My heart is with the Buckeyes, but I still was rooting for Duke to do well. AMAZING game for the Bucks.

It should be interesting to see what happens. There are some great teams and the Big 10 is strong this year. What OSU did last night was VERY impressive though. They all but shut down Duke's 3-point shooting and executed on offense. I think one of the main differences was pure athleticism. Exciting team!

I heard Spielman say he would LOVE to see Craft as a safety out on the football field. He's just that athletic and that good.

It will be interesting to see how they do when they travel to Kansas. Not to take anything away from the Buckeyes last night because I don't think it would have mattered but the 8 games in 13 days (plus travel back from Maui) looked to have Duke a little worn out. Of course it also wears you out when the Buckeye defense is in your jersey all night.

Best team in the country for the second year in a row by a far far margin.
If they were the best team last year, how come they didn't win the championship?

Im not so sure about the "wide margin" part. There are still some very good teams out there
Agreed. They could get upset at Kansas.

The "best team" doesn't always win the Championship. It's the beauty of the NCAA tournament. Everybody has a shot because regardless of how good you are, it's tough to win 6 in a row.

Yep. Just ask UConn, who won 11 in a row to end the season, and that's including playing 5 games in 5 days.

Well I don't think anyone would argue the Bulls didn't have the best team in the NBA during any of their 6 championship runs with Michael Jordan but they never once went undefeated in the playoffs.....and I remember they were once down like 2 - 0 to the Knicks or the Pacers I believe. The NCAA tournament really only crowns the best team maybe 30 or 40 percent of the time. It's all about a 2 week run which is exciting but doesn't usually mean the best team wins the championship. Kentucky doesn't beat Ohio State last year in a 7 game series guys...come on. But that is what makes the tournament really fun and exciting....you just hope you don't run into bad officials or one bad shooting night (Buford 2 of 16). Jordan had several playoff games were he shot bad and the Bulls lost...but he and the Bulls were still far far better than everyone else. It happens.

-Despite the worst officiating possible Ohio State over comes it and beats Kansas at Kansas by a basket.

Can't be too upset losing by 3 at UNC. We played em great for 30+ minutes then had a tough run from about 9 min left till 2 min left. I think UW would beat them in Madison (hell we beat just about everyone there) and would give them a run on a neutral court. I don't think many people thought we'd keep it that close, me included, just based on a talent standpoint alone.

Roy Williams will never ever have the huevos to go to the Kohl Center. Hell he threw a temper tantrum about the crowd at Thomas & Mack after the UNLV loss. That clown is the most overrated coach in college basketball.

And last night proves again how underrated Bo Ryan is. Guy gets more out of less talent than anyone in the country.

Well, they do tend to let the hockey goons The Badgers call a front-court get away with a little more at Kohl ;)

Jared Sullinger is out with an injury. They have not said what the injury is but I was told it is a back injury from someone inside the camp.
