The right fight would be between Thurston Moore and Noel Gallagher...
I have a friend who flew to the UK last Sunday, he is going to many concerts in the UK until late November, and from there till late December in the States another whole bunch of shows, to make a long story short, 4 Gillian Welch on either side of the Atlantic, 3 and 2 Noel Gallagher shows respectively, among many many many others...... I am not in the business of being liked anymore ...0 -
Ryan Adams, MMJ, R.E.M., The Decemberists, Eddie Vedder, and I'm going to go ahead now and include the Black Keys that comes out in December. They get an automatic bid.0

Agreed."I try my best to chug, stomp, weep, whisper, moan, wheeze, scat, blurt, rage, whine, and seduce. With my voice I can sound like a girl, the boogieman, a Theremin, a cherry bomb, a clown, a doctor, a murderer. I can be tribal. Ironic. Or disturbed. My voice is really my instrument."

That album is good but I don't think it is good enough to be that far ahead of everything else. I got 1 album in front of it so far.severed hand thirteen2006: Gorge 7/23 2008: Hartford 6/27 Beacon 7/1 2009: Spectrum 10/30-31
