I gave up meat 28 years ago when I was 16. Then it was very much for the animals, now it's a mixture of many things. I think if you could rear an animal, kill it yourself and eat it, that's great. I just know I couldn't do that myself. (And yes I can grow my own veg, kill it and eat it
)

For a minute or two maybe...I couldn't do it. While I feel it is an admirable thing, I don't have the will power. I still don't know what a "stone" is but I'm up there I'm sure.

Eggs, cheese, milk are fine with me - you don't have to kill anything to have them (although you have to watch out with cheese).

I got in trouble for a homemade explosive ( I was 12 years old...not that big of a deal :angel: ).
My neighborhood FBI agent (How was I to know???) grabbed my buddy and I and called the police.
My D.A.R.E. officer showed up and took me home....
So stupid...

Some people are going crazy on November 11th, that is the beginning of the carnival season (Shrove Tuesday and stuff like that). I don't - I was raised in Eastern Germany and we don't really have that tradition, people who really celebrate it are kind of imitating the stuff that is tradition in the Western part of Germany.
