    I'm partial to reds toward the dryer end of the spectrum. If I had to pick a favorite varietal, Montepulciano d'Abruzzo will do the trick. But I also enjoy Sangiovese, Tempranillo, Chilean Carmeneres, and Argentinian Malbecs.

    I showshoe. I did ski briefly, but ended up with a complete rupture of my ACL and broke my leg, so I don't ski anymore.
