When we moved into our house (in April of 1999), the previous owners left a bunch of records in the garage. I took a quick look at them and didn't think much of them because they didn't seem to be in particularly good shape and there was stuff I'm really not interested in (e.g. Barry Manilow, Seals & Crofts).
I've had them set aside ever since then.
Last night, I finally decided to take a closer look and there are definitely some records worth cleaning up and adding to my collection (CSN&Y, Allman Bros, Chicago Transit Authority...).0 -
Oh, and he gave me Dancing on the ceiling for free

Picked up Black Sabbath - Master Of Reality for £3. A classic album
I also ordered John Zorns Dreamers 7" single with Mike Patton.
Just waiting for the price of the album to go down a little before I buy it. It's about time Tzadik starting issuing albums on vinyl. So SO many of thier releases would suit being on vinyl. I'd love to hear Masada String Trio on wax and The Book Of Angels series too.0 -
