Ed screaming at the clueless security guy

Ed on Chris' shoulders while they're trying to sing "Hunger Strike"

Stone's dirty coffee mug and his Grammy in the basement

Jeff and Stone's outfits, circa 1989.

    "Eeeeeee.....ahhhhhh...shabba dooba cover-of-Time-magazine-o."

Ed sings.... "everybody loves us...everybody loves our town"

Isn't that a part of Mudhoney's Overblown lyrics?

Another funny moment was Stone's face at the hearing when that female judge says "I think you are adorable" and all that praising during the hearing, Stone and Jeff's comments and faces are awesome...
... I am not in the business of being liked anymore ...

  • besides the scenes you guys already name..
    and before the movie starts..

A couple came late to watch the movie, and trying to hurry, she tripped on the stairs and while she was falling she dropped the nachos (with cheese) and end it using it as a hat :lol::lol::lol:

Ed: Singles party - lighting vs sound

Mike: We would be in a bar with like 20 people and Andy would say "this is for all the people in the back!"...and there was like, the guy at the door.

Matt: I would close my eyes, point at a song as say, "Do I know this one?" No? Awwww....

Stone: something along the lines of "in the first 10-30 seconds, I knew he wanted to punch me in the face."

Jeff: "Fuck You! What does it mean? If I had the balls, I would have said it too.."

Edit - Andy: We are definitely the band of the 90's. If we aren't, then I'll just have to fire my band, and they''l become the band of the 90's." *with a small tear.

Chris: "Yeah, I'm good with my current living situation."

The funniest thing about the movie is... Stone Gossard.
Can't imagine how much funnier he would have been in his sarcastic phase.

  • A few that I can think of off the top of my head:

"That was the birth of 'No'".

"Why's is getting brighter in here?

"We had some legal problems. The name was taken by some guy named Mookie Blaylock." and the part about Mookie Blaylock sucking the night before because he heard they were changing their name.

Eddie Vedder's speech at Neil Young's Rock and Roll HOF induction. His speech is really funny, but I especially love just how amused NY is by it (as well as a few other historic rockers).

    Drummer history.

    Ticketmaster trial.

    Jeff is the sarcastic one...
Stone said when he met Jeff he was introduced to the world of sarcasm.

Funniest for me had to be Cornell laughing at Stone for wanting to live at home.

Am I the only one who felt like the Grammy thing was staged?? I'm sure it really was down in the basement, but just the way it plays out, and how conveniently it was spotted at the time. Still funny, but not spontaneous feeling like the coffee mug part!

    agreed

and this part was good but subtle...

when Stone was "showing off" what he had on his shelves, he said, "and here's some Pearl Jam cds that somebody game because I had to learn some songs." (and then he quickly moved on to something else). I mean I could see having to brush up on some chords/licks.....but , Stone, did you really have to borrow/use "Somebody else's "Pearl Jam cds"??? :wtf:

I like the subtle irony in that scene, "hey stone got any cool PJ stuff?" uh ya..... Got these CD's and DVD's that anyone can get anywhere

It's Stone. It says when he met Jeff he had recently been introduced to the world of sarcasm. Besides that, there's several little one liners from Stone from back in the early days.

That was funny. I love the looks on their faces.

    I forgot about that one.

Yeah, that was great, the interviewer was like, "Would you guys be willing to do a promo for South America?" and they were like, "Sure...", then the interviewer said, "It's in Spanish," and the looks on their faces were priceless.
    "Hola...somos Pearl Jam."

The scene where Stone, Mike, AND Matt use, "And, I was like.../And, they were like..." in a row...I wonder if Crowe meant to do that?

(That's the part where Mike was saying how he was suggesting to Stone that Jeff was "the Guy".)
Lots of love, light and hugs to you all!
