For some reason I also got a kick out of seeing the band in the early days dressed in all their "trademark" clothes that I remember from my youth, lol.

The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences, and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun.
When eddie goes all crazy singing "breath" behind the security guard at the show where security was roughing up the drunk kid too much.
When Stone is driving and talking about when they recorded "Hunger Strike"....he was saying how cool it was that Cornell invited Ed to sing on the track with him and none of them really knew ed's voice that well yet, and when Ed starts singing, theyre like "woah, our guy sings pretty fucking good too"

+1....a couple of other gems that come to mind were:
-Cameron handing Eddie the tape that still had his phone # on it
-Mike agreeing with everyone's description of himself
-and Mike yet again, describing Andy Wood at a show and acting like he was performing to a stadium filled with people and there'd be like 3 people there and the doorman at the back

Im going to watch the movie again tomorrow night, but you reminded me of another part i thought was funny. when andy was talking about going on arena tours---he said he would even go on tour with warrant just to get to play arenas...
fucking warrant.
One of my favorite parts of the movie, and its not a funny part, was when Ed was showing the picture of his dad that was hanging on his wall and he says how he can feel him there sometimes. I thought the way he said it was beautiful and made me tear up a bit. Like, how sad that his father didnt get to see the great man he became, but that Ed has it in his heart that his father is there with him anyways. I thought it was very touching to hear that from him. I feel like Ive seen that pic before, i cant place where, but holy shit does he look like his father!!
I also liked seeing Jeff in his tights and basketball shorts sprinkled throughout the film. Funny shit!
Makes much more sense...

Am I the only one who felt like the Grammy thing was staged?? I'm sure it really was down in the basement, but just the way it plays out, and how conveniently it was spotted at the time. Still funny, but not spontaneous feeling like the coffee mug part!
All the above. But, what about when something to the effect, "Eddie was really quiet and shy....Until he went out with Cornell one night" God only knows what went down!
The "oh, theres a grammy" was great. Proof they stayed true to their beliefs!!

Think I laughed out loud when Stone was off in his own world waving while a band hug was in progress. "Why is it getting brighter" a close second. Also...
Don't want to spoil anything here (******WARNING******)
but on the extras Ed tells a story about hiding a dummy in the rafters for later use during Porch.... priceless!
The entire Singles party scene, from Eddie spitting to him tilting at the end. Especially tilt.
Drummers story, Spinal Tap, Jack Irons walking away, the way Matt is saying 'nooo'.
Eddie zooming down fireman pole.
Cornell: He is infected...good luck guys.
Damn Grammy, there seemed to be more interesting stuff in Stone's basement. Well, rats would be more interesting than Grammy.
the singles party for sure is there anywhere you can see this whole thing unedited? I saw the edited version on youtube but they take all the good parts out haha

My sister is getting married soon, and she and I were talking about ridiculous theme weddings, and my idea was a 90's wedding. We were talking about the venue ("wherever the groom's band practices") and dresses ("oversized belted plaid flannel shirts") and stuff, and my sis (who is not a PJ fan, mind you) said, "Yeah, the groomsmen would have to dress in, like, black tights under basketball shorts and stupid hats."

yelling stadium come-ons ("All the people in the back!")
when there's only a doorman.
"Oh look, there's a Grammy!"
is the funniest moment though,
period.
Cheers.
Followed closely by the entire Singles party...what a hot mess!

I've said this in many different threads, but this movie really made me love Chris Cornell at a whole other level
Ed sings.... "everybody loves us...everybody loves our town" real cocky!
Ed pointing like a maniac to the monitors and then pulling down the curtain in the back.
Those people behind there looked scared shitless...lol
The yellow flower Mr. Furley robe, shirt or whatever Ed was wearing just added to the comedy
Gut busting funny!
Can you see me now
I am myself
Like you somehow
I'll ride the wave

BUT Ed's higher voice is just funny....man what cigarettes and age have done to his voice
