9-9-9 works for the 1%...all this will do is divide the gap between the rich and the poor even further... the plan has so many holes in it, it's scary...but what's scarier are the people in the 99% that are following this clown...I don't get it...
I get it, he appears to be different than what we've had in the past,
he is someone people can relate to.

He knows poor... being a very poor black child who grew up in the Atlanta ghetto,
worked his way up building a good successful business,
had cancer but a few years ago where had little chance to live
yet here he is. A living miracle.
He's got strength in character, a humanness and charisma, a good sense of humor,
accountability and hardline against those using the system and a strong faith in his purpose
in life and in the Presidency.

This is all very attractive, especially after what we have had to choose from in recent years
    and those running now.

So for the Republicans in the 99% it might be their best chance to remove Obama.

Herman Cain has a good back story. When we joined the old car club in area, there was not much concern with the car itself; there was a lot of concern with its back story. It had been driven from coast to coast. It had been bought specifically to take a dying lady to pleasant places so that she might enjoy her last few weeks on earth. Despite doctors' warnings that she could not survive the journey, the ride was apparently so good that she recovered her health and went on to live enjoyably for several more years. You can sell a good back story rather easily; it's rather harder to sell an antique that needs quite a bit of work. I am not concerned with Cain's age, but I am concerned that even though he is generating ideas and firing imaginations (much like my car), not too much of what he has (ideologically speaking) is sound. An electrified fence to keep out immigrants? It works with dogs and cattle! The 9-9-9 plan? His ideas need quite a bit of work. I do agree that he is among the cream of the Republican crop so far and doubt that Obama's losing a lot of sleep over Republican rivals to date. Which doesn't mean he has nothing to worry about, since voters are becoming more Independently minded. This could work for or against him or for or against the Republicans.

I liked your story... your way of writing too...
liked your back story and I agree with all you said

My magic ball tells me Obama will befall some positive revitalization,
some magic in 2012 and get a second term

    but I've been wrong before
