hahaha, yeah I can't understand this ridiculous backpack thing. it's aweful, and it's a backpack.
Those people spending like $300 on this thing are gonna look back and go... what was I thinking, but hey if they are lucky enough to have that kinda cash to burn, then good luck to them, why the hell not.
Vinyl is different, it's the album, so for me the fact that that 12" circle hold PJ sounds etc is kinda special, but I like my rock music CD and vinyl packaging.London 29-10-96, London 29/30-5-00, London 20-4-06, Reading 27-8-06, London 18-6-07, London 11-8-09, London 18-8-09, London 25-6-10, Berlin 30-6-10 / PJ20 3/4-9-11, Manchester 20-6-12, Amsterdam 26/27-6-12, EV-London 30/31-7-12, EV-Orlando 27-11-120 -

You certainly have a major complaint.
You should sue the 10c.
Your case could be based on the 10c only having items in the goods section till a)they sell out or b) only for one month not 2 months.
You obviously have a excellent lawsuit.
I can afford that only on Nov. 2nd !!!
Life sucks, life is a bitch, life is unfair, you can't always get what you want....
You lost out. The 10c owes you nothing. Get a better job that has spontaneous money for you to impulse buy shit. Or listen to Speedy.Post edited by Tboz51 on"Honesty will always be construed as negative to a dumbass"

Man the question is not only buy the dvd... I won´t the dvd... I want the bluray it´s fact !!!
But the things are wrong..... it´s not fair with us membership !!!
how long was the blue ray on sale?????
this.
I thought about buying it for a couple weeks but couldn't pull the trigger. I was actually relieved when it was OOS. So, I bought the DVD instead, which will allow me to watch it on any of my devices anyway. Sour grapes.
Same with the Backpack, I had it in my cart and couldn't bring myself to buy something I will probably never use because I wouldn't want to ruin it and also WTF am I going to do with a $75 backpack?
sorry man, but the Bluray had been up for a looooong time.
what would be nice, is if the members got a heads up on new (especially limited edition) stuff via email. But then, people would still complain because "they cant check their email all day"....maybe Santos should call everyone?Post edited by PatrickBateman onIf a man speaks in a forest and there is no woman around to hear him, is he still wrong?0 -

People need to realize this. Or, more succinctly:
"I cant understand why so many of you HAVE TO PURCHASE everything"
Not just in PJ land, but life in general.
No-one ever died from a lack of backpacks, vinyl, stickers or laptop bags. People lose track of what's really important.
Want? Sure. Need? Please...
Anyone spending $500 on a packpack needs to re-think their priorities. Unless they are filthy rich of course, in which case go for it.
And of course, to play devil's advocate: what does it matter to you if someone spends their hard earned money on a rare item?
So, eh, let's just agree to disagreeBright eyed kid: "Wow Typo Man, you're the best!"
Typo Man: "Thanks kidz, but remembir, stay in skool!"0 -
There would be less starvation in Somalia if there were more Pearl Jam Blu Rays. Maybe we should donate ours.0

I can't wait til the next time tickets sell out in a couple minutes and we get threads complaining about why couldn't the 10club sell more, why couldn't they sell some for me a month later, why not just cater to my lifestyle because i'm the only that matters, etc etc etc.

The hoarding mentality of today's society at it's finest.
We all want more, better, faster...and 6 of them.
And the Ten Club is well aware of the obsessive nature of their fans.Nice shirt.0 -
we were just talking last night about how a lot of bands seem to be trying to cash in re-issuing things they've already done - for me it's nice to look at all the stuff from one of these fancy box-sets, but then they just take up space on a shelf.
Also the trend of bands doing movies - which I am enjoying, but again it's leading to issuing them in these expensive, super-deluxe versions, which I may watch once or twice and then on the shelf it goes.
bands that are doing this: PJ, Foo Fighters, Rush, U2.......0 -

When each and every one of us joins this club, and sends our hard earned money....We are PROMISED a yearly holiday single and a deep magazine...Right?? This is part of the little contract...Right??? Or am I wrong here??
But the 10club doesnt seem to care about their end of the deal...Right???
Because how many deep magazines have ever actually been sent to us???
The latest holiday single took 16 months to arrive???
It just isnt right....Take me piece by piece.....
