They have a very good core and one picther could be huge. Bullpen is stacked. Lineup is strong and going to get bounce back years next year. They will be fine. No major major changes needed.
your "core" is old and overpaid :wtf:

but I'm sure cashman can throw some money at it and piece something together

With the amount of teams who have and spend BIG money in today's game..this label is beyond old

Yanks did little the past off season and nothing at the deadline..unlike the other high priced east coast teams
i post on the board of a band that doesn't exsist anymore .......i need my head examined.......

you're still the payroll kings. I think your brass KNOWS $$$ is not the solution, but it's hard not to stockpile players when your pockets are so deep....and when the sox are doing the same thing.

Well this kind of sucks. Bald vinny isn't coming back next year. I guess getting married and having kids and all. Role call won't end but it won't be the same.

I personally primarily root for the name on the Front of the jersey,
then secondly the guy wearing it .
( cant even say the name on the back- we dont do that )

ortiz to the yanks would be an incredible FU to sux fans. but it's not happening.

it's rather pujols or fielder as my DH - two things that won't happen either.

The Yankees don't need Ortiz, but if he did join them I wonder if he still close out interviews with the media by saying, "Thanks guys, now go get some ass". Or would that be part of the media training?
