At 5ft 9 I would just like to get a women's T that is long enough. I mean I might be tall but not freakishly tall but all the T's are just soo short. and don't get me started on the variable size issue . . .
I can't imagine how short they are on you, I'm 5'3" and my belly button shows :(

you must be like me...have short legs and a longer torso. I'm almost the same height standing as I am sitting...

    please please please longer shirts!

I should post a video of me trying to wrangle my boobs into one of the tees I have  And I don't think I have extra big ones either 36D :?

ETA an S because apparently before I only had one boob ;)

You should try having 36HH to contend with!

I generally avoid buying clothing merch because of it...

    what she said.

in my debt, I am in a merch buying mood. Oh ya.

Hopefully with this thread, PJ merch designers will toss out the "babydoll" bs and design REAL sizes for REAL women.

Their sales would go through the roof.

    Just an idea.

And ya, PJ don't only have sausages in their audience, they have clams :D

And more importantly, melons, that need to look nice in a PJ tshirt instead of being transformed into a uniboob, boobs hiding under a tent, or no boobs at all.

  • Ok, so don't jump down my throat, but am I the only one who DOESN'T have a problem with the sizing then? I have to say in all honesty that it's never really affected me. I'm a pretty average size person - like...160 cm tall ( I think that's about 5'1 or 5'2?), about 55kg, which is about 115 pounds I think maybe a little heavier. And no, I don't have tiny boobs either (10/12 D, which is I THINK a 32/34D in US sizing)

I don't have a problem with the tees riding up and showing my belly button, and the small mens, or medium womens fit pretty perfectly.

Just wondering if the sizing had changed in the last few years, cause maybe it's older styles/sizes that don't fit so well?

    you might be lucky ;-)

i think the complaint spans all years of ladies shirts...even newer. all bought in the last few months:

XL PJ20 ladies...fits decent, a little tight in the arms. but not a big deal. Brand = american apparel

XL eddie vedder shirt (where he is on the surf board) ladies...very little stretch, can wear it, but not comfortably right now. brand = organic something or other

XL i'm analog ladies...no stretch, didnt even try to put it on, sent to exchange, still waiting on the XXL. i think the same brand as EV.

XL flogging molly ladies...fits somewhere between the PJ20 shirt and the EV shirt.

how long have concerts even been offering ladies tees? i remember being surprised when i first noticed the option at a show, but i dont remember what/when it was now.

remember the early 90's, where it was all one size fits all or one size fits most? hehe...those were comfy shirts. not flattering, but they were usually soft cotton, softer than current guy shirts, and you def. did not have to worry about the sausage effect! and we were all happy because we didnt know any better yet, and you just threw a flannel or hoodie over everything anyway and it was good!

  • The first PJ ladies t I bought was the black Yield t with the Yield sign on the front. It fit through a few washes, now it could fit a build-a-bear.

WE WANT SHIRTS!!!! Shirts that fit.

And to just throw something else out there, I have the mens red hoodie. The first time I wore it, it started raining. I pull the hood up and it was huge! Like came down to my chin. I now call it my Monks hoodie. I will say though that I love that one, it's my security blankie. I sleep in it or with it some nights.

 hahaha, yeahhh, admittedly, i do, too  i think the hoodies just fit a little better now, too!

and i still even have my favorite purple flannel that my mom sewed green turtle buttons on for me when i was like 16(wayyy back in '92  ). ;) i cozy up in that around the house every now and then still, as well!

lol @ build a bear. sad for the shirt though!

my boyfriend and i bought the same toronto 1 tshirt, with the agreement to not wear them at the same time, i got a mens medium and he a large. i pulled a shirt out of the drier the other day, forgetting we had the same one and thought oh no, i shrunk his tshirt! then realized it was my medium ;)

i hate how everything shrinks just a little though. thats why i dont mind a cotton/polly blend. less fading, shrinking and getting out of shape in the long run of things...

I'm 5'4", petite in frame, about 117 pounds. I have knockers, a nice size for my frame. 34/36 B/C cup. Not huge knockers, but it's a good pair. LOL. Handfulls, just right. Just to give you an idea of my shape. Have been so for a few quite a years.

It's a great tshirt too! An awesome blue. It had a gold leaf symbol on it I think. From the 2006 Canadian tour. Someone post a pic of it plz, as I don't have it anymore. :(

I am about the same size as you, and I think you mean this shirt:

    PJteeWeb.jpg

The one I wore twice, never put in the dryer and had to sew up the side seam the second time i wore it  Way tight across the ribs, and insanely too short for a 35 year old mom, I prefer shirts that come down around hip level :?

At 5'11" you can imagine how this shirt looked on me... I used to wear it with a long white tank underneath... I had no choice. Ultimately I gave it to a friend who is only 4'11" and it's verging on too short on her, but fits much better... she gave me the PJ Superman Chicago t-shirt as an exchange... it's still too short, I have to wear a tank under that one too. But I'm bummed about that 05 Canada shirt... I really like it, it could be one of my favourites if it was only a decent size and cut!

The best fitting t-shirt has been that 08 leaves one, but we definitely need more options. I love the scoop neck tunic t-shirt that was posted a couple of pages back. I'm someone who would rather soft cotton... not a big fan of too much stretch, it can showcase all the bumps and lumps you want to hide... mostly the 09 and 10 t-shirts are American Apparel but they're still on the tight side... and enough with the teeny tiny sleeves that are tight in the armpits! I hate cap sleeve for this reason...
