    My guess is the guy is using that listing to generate interest in his other Pearl Jam listings.

    I'm not sure how many times this listing has been pimped on this site, but your post is at least the 2nd I've seen.


    Not a bad marketing scheme.


    If I ever sell any Pearl jam stuff I'm also going to put a listing with cooked spaghetti spelling out Pearl Jam.

    really?? they aren't far off flogging this sort of crap. sure it hasn't got to KISS extremes yet, but more so then ever they put a PJ or write pearl jam on anything and the masses here eat it up.

    I think I read in the other thread that this was exactly the point of the listing. The guy is just making a funny statement about Pearl Jam and merchandising these days. You can tell from reading the description the guy isn't serious.

    ebay is just a market. If there is no demand there would be no sale ergo it is not ebay out of control but the purchasers...

    and the bloke selling it is making more of a statement about the ridiculous obsession people have with collecting anything to do with PJ stuff...
