Why are you so concerned with what someone does with something they rightfully own? If I owned one, I likely wouldn't sell it...but either way it wouldn't concern you or anyone else on this board.2000 = Montreal2003 = Montreal2005 = Halifax, St. John's Night 1

I'll totally sell mine. I'm not that sentimental. Besides they're already ripped to my computer.
And who cares, it's theirs to do with what they will.0 -
$250? Fuck. Mine's sitting right out in the open in my car right now.
Starting to get a bit nervous...0 -
I'm only concerned because this cd was a gift from 10C. Just seems like it should be shared with folks on the board.StevieG73 wrote:White Discussion wrote:1 cd on the auction site!!!! In this community I wish we could find who it is. Come forth you shithead and ask for forgiveness:).

people will do anything for a buck (or several hundreds)
I used to work at an autograph/sports store, Michael Jordan signed 6 'Wings' posters for the stores under the condition that they would NEVER be sold:
keep in mind this poster is life size. Well the original owner sold the store to some goober and the first thing he did was put a price tag of $10k on it. Sold within a few weeks. It made me sad.The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences, and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun.

That is sad & you are right some will do anything to make some $$$.RKCNDY wrote:people will do anything for a buck (or several hundreds)

Technically it wasn't a gift....they paid for it by buying a VIP package.2000 = Montreal2003 = Montreal2005 = Halifax, St. John's Night 1

Not a VIP package, we got it when we picked up our fanclub tickets. But everyone has their own opinion about how to handle things & us not aggreeing is fine:).

Wow that's ridiculous. Why would anyone pay that much for that? I don't even collect CD's (we have to draw the line somewhere right?) so I'll prob just selll it for cheap to someone here at some point.0 -

You know, these wouldn't sell for $250 if there weren't people willing to pay $250. Who's the schmuck in this equation?0

Why people are incapable of waiting a month or three for 10C to sell the CD and poster in question is beyond me.
Hang tight, the PJ20 posters will appear for sale in the Goods section soon enough,...To quote the 10C from Newsletter #8: "Please understand we have a lot of members and it is very hard to please everybody. If you are one of those unhappy people...please call 1-900-IDN-TCAR."

If I sold my stuff from the show (3 t-shirts, vault cd, poster from each day (one signed by Klaussen), 1 event poster with Niel, (2) Ames Mookie Posters, (2) PJ20 movie posters, and the Ames 10c Beercan poster), I think I could probably turn a profit from going to PJ20.
Of course I wouldnt dream of getting rid of this stuff. Seeing the prices out there is mind boggling.0 -

Are you serious? Everyone that bought 10C tix got one? I thought they were just for VIP ticket holders.2000 = Montreal2003 = Montreal2005 = Halifax, St. John's Night 1

Maybe selling the vault CD is the only way to get PJ20 posters right now... I'd trade mine for some artEd: 2011-07-09 2012-11-04

dude you would make over a thousand dollars easily0 -
Yeah, I know... but its not even. Tempting for me. It would have been very easy to grab 6 of everything except the cd and movie poster. Im sure plenty of people do this to finance their trips. I guess its a free country, but it would be cool if they could prevent this.
I bought 2 mookie posters, one for a friend at $20 each. Anyone could have easily bought 10 of them and made $2k off of $200.
Its crazy.
The cds though are one per member and I can't believe so many are selling those.0
