We sure did put some miles on the boots. My feet hurt most of the week but it was well worth it.

So who was the couple that got the sweet upgrade to seated on Saturday that then flipped their seats to us?

I never caught your names and my wife, who I assumed knew them since she'd been talking to you for sometime, doesn't remember.

If I remember correctly you were on your way up to Toronto for the shows. I hope that pink 50 came in handy. ;)

  • Hey all, this is Matt from Missouri! Just found this thread and wanted to chime in and let everyone know how great of a time I had at the resort! Friday night on the deck was awesome...getting to hear the guys do their long soundcheck as I was posting on the forums and questioned about it's truthfulness! Thanks for letting me play some Neil Young on the guitar...Friday night was a highlight of the weekend for me!

Room 130..right by the entrance of the pool. The cold water pool sure did cure my hangover at 7am on Sunday. That and the spliff that was sparked..There were 2 couples that were in the hot tub from like 10-5 on sunday..ahhaha was so funny everyone who came down by the pool had "i might yak" espressed all over their face on sunday morning. Also much thanks to the guy from jersey (real short skinny guy) who was handing out treats before the show on sat. If your reading this you know what Im talking about!

  • Just finding this thread now...we were part of the Friday and Sat night PM parking lot crowd. Steve from Jersey, that was me that brought the wine and wine glasses (being a winemaker, kinda hard to drink shitty wine and also from shitty glasses!). Had a great time hanging with everyone. Just an epic weekend!

Who is the dude on the right?

That guy did me a favor and asked his girlfriend (or his friend who is a gir)l if I could borrow her hairdryer.

You see, I asked the resort if they had a hairdryer I could use and they said they were all out but that "here" I could use this IRON.
    Sunbeam-Steam-Master-Iron-fb-7531431.jpg

I said, "I really would rather a hairdryer"

    n_sedu_Hairdryers_57614_62951.jpg

She said "do you want the iron or not."

    Sunbeam-Steam-Master-Iron-fb-7531431.jpg

This dude on the right.. (not the short girl leaning on his elbow)..

    IMAG0163.jpg

..he couldn't believe that the Alpine Valley Resort was encouraging me to iron my hair dry so he went to his room where the girl there was more than happy to loan me the hairdryer.

her and another guy and the dude guy couldn't believe that the resort expected me to be happy with an iron to dry my hair

Well, I ended up using the hairdryer on my shoes too because they were wet, but it wasn't long that I went back to the room to return the hairdryer but nobody was there.

Me and my friend put the hairdyer safely back in our room and went to the show.

    and we came back.

Dude guy was outside the resort when I came walking back and he ran over to me "Dude" he said to me, (even though I am not a dude), "the hairdryer. blah blah"

anyway long story short, the girl was pissed cuz she thought I stole the hairdryer.

(No, we went looking for yous people to return the hairdryer. I did NOT desire to keep your hairdryer.)

When dude's girlfriend (or friend who is a girl) got her hairdryer back, I told the girl that I was sorry and that I did go looking for her , she replied "no you didn't, you asshole".

Now I don't think I"ve ever been called an asshole to my face in my life. It wasn't nice but I didn't get mad.

I even sent two tangerines back with dude guy to her as a symbol of peace.

    TANGERINES.gif

I was glad to not find them smooshed around my room's door or anything the next morning.

    The End.
