Dear multilingualists: What's Ole' exactly mean?

Seriously. And not the lyrics of the song (which are deceptively brilliant, by the way). Just "Ole'" itself. All the translations I'm finding are all over the place. Sure it's simple. But any help is appreciated. Took French, not Spanish ...

    French and Spanish can be used interchangeably...
