This really stinks. I'm sorry. This nearly happened to me at one of The Gorge shows in 2006. I caught a 10 Club member trying to pull my tube out from a under my chair during "State of Love and Trust."
Unfortunately, this band has picked up a real meathead contingent of fans over the years who seem more intent on getting loaded and fucking with people at shows than hearing the music. It has created a situation where many long-time fans just don't enjoy the shows as much any more (one of the reasons I skipped PJ20, even though I could afford it).
But Klausen has some that he will sell on his site. Stay tuned.My Pearl Jam Road: 10/22/90 Seattle | 12/22/90 Seattle, Moore Theater | 9/29/92 Seattle, Magnusson Park, Drop in the Park | 9/5/93 The Gorge, with Neil Young and Blind Melon | 7/20/06 Portland, Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall with Sleater-Kinney | 7/22/06 The Gorge, 10/21/06 Mountain View, Shoreline Ampitheatre, Bridge School Benefit | 9/21/09 Seattle | 9/22/09 Seattle | 9/26/09 Portland, OR | 7/14/2011 Eddie Vedder, Portland, OR | 11/29/13 Portland, OR0 -
That sucks dude.
This is really a prime example of why Poster Pre-Sale works on so, so many levels.{if (work != 0) {
work = work + 1;
sleep = sleep - work * 10;}
else if (work >= 0) {
reality.equals(false);
work = work +1;

Come on, that is a terribly elitist attitude and very, very cynical way of looking at it.
Fact of the matter is: Beer + lots of people = guaranteed meatheads... Doesnt matter if its a backstreet boys concert, an NFL game, a Slayer concert or a Pearl Jam concert, it is just the reality of a large event. So, to use that as some kind of excuse for why you did not go (even though you could "afford it") is kinda shallow and just comes across as incredibly elitist.{if (work != 0) {

+1...I've been to 11 shows in 11 years and around 40 shows from other bands in that same time frame and the crowd at almost every show has been pretty well the same. Sure some real douchers have stuck out at particular shows, but walking around and observing people there seems to be a standard level of schmuckiness whether it's 1500 people or 40000 people.0 -
I hate to hear about stuff like this. My brother had his poster jacked from him at a concert in either England or Ireland, and he was just sick over it. I felt bad, it was his first (and only) PJ show, and somebody (who knows if they were 10C or not) ruined the experience for him by acting like a douche.
I hope whoever stole your poster doesn't sell it, but instead frames it and hangs it on their wall, and it forever reminds them of what a dickhole they are."See a broad to get dat booty yak 'em, leg 'er down, a smack 'em yak 'em!"0 -
Sorry to hear about your brother. I am sick to my stomach over this. And the asshole is going to flip at least one, there were two in the tube, one for me, one for another member on here.SatansFuton wrote:I hate to hear about stuff like this. I have 2 extras from Sunday, not in mint condition as the merch booth ran out of tubes and I had to roll it myself and slide them into the plastic sleeves before I realized the ups people had tubes09/12/92 11/05/93 09/13/95 07/11/98 07/13/98 10/30/99 10/22/00 10/25/00 10/28/00 10/30/00 06/01/03 06/03/03 07/06/06 07/09/06 07/10/06 07/15/06 07/16/06 08/24/09 10/06/09 10/07/09 09/03/11 09/04/110

Me too! It's funny because you only know them from what they write on the boards. Still can't believe how great the fellow fans are. (Obviously not all)Formerly Brew Crew Tix

Wait just a second. This is sounding familiar.
