one can only hope that they can't until at least September 5th.hippiemom = goodness0 -
I think it's up to the discretion of the probation officer. I know people who have left the country while on probation, so it just depends. If it's a situation like a concert/festival where they know beer is going to be plentiful, and the presence of drugs are pretty likely, it could easily be a no. But these guys aren't a regular case, and the probation might just be a formality. So I really have no idea. But if they were on a standard probation, and this was a standard case, I would bet the PO would say "No Way". See what I did there?"See a broad to get dat booty yak 'em, leg 'er down, a smack 'em yak 'em!"0

There are no travel restrictions and they're not on probation, so they don't have a probation officer. They are on Suspended Imposition of Sentence.0

I read that Damien flew out to New York and Jason flew to California to live with relatives, and both have no plans to return. Jessie apparently returned home to live with his dad.0

Yeah I guess it is good for them, but I can't help but feel uneasy about all of this. Whilst I'm glad to see Damien is no longer facing the death penalty, it doesn't feel like justice has been served for those three little boys. I hope that there will be an effort to fully exonerate the WM3, and I hope all these celebrities will continue to support that effort.0 -

and if you do leave and you get caught you go straight back to the big house and the time is up to the judge..he can give you 30 days or the remainder of your time it just all depends on if he got laid or not the night before
and your PO can also send you back...don't mess up up your probation !

and that brings to mind if they pled guilty then they have a murder rap on their record..not a good jacket to have when you're job hunting and with a guilty plee there will be no law suit for time in the joint, these boys got a great dealand if any of them gets busted for anything else and has to go back..their names as baby killers will follow them into the joint and that aint good.

The guilty plea was a legal maneuver so the prosecution in the case doesn't have to change the "W" to an "L" in the in the Won/Lost column.
And don't tell me that if you were on Death Row for the past 18 years, that you wouldn't agree to the same terms... say, "I'm guilty" and you are set free. And think about it... what is worse... not getting a job... or LIFE in Prison (or on Death Row).
Seriously... which would you choose?Post edited by Cosmo onAllen Fieldhouse, home of the 2008 NCAA men's Basketball Champions! Go Jayhawks!

Probation/Parole is not really so rigid or black and white. As I said I knew a guy who left the country while on Probation, with his PO's blessing. He and his family went on a cruise in Mexico for Thanksgiving. There are different levels of risk, and other factors that affect what they can do. You might have one guy with an ankle bracelet who is only allowed to leave his home for work and essential errands and has to report every week, and you might have a guy who has to report every month, and another who has to report every 6 months. The level of supervision, and how much they restrict your movement is a case by case basis, sometimes decided by the court, other times at the discretion of the PO.
I knew a guy who was on probation in Florida, but lived in Texas. He just had to call a phone number in Florida once a month and leave a message with his SS#, and every 2-3 months (I forget what it was) he would report to a probation office here in Texas and take a drug test, although eventually his entire probation was transferred here.
Without looking at the judgement handed down by the court, or their terms of parole/probation, I can't really say what they can or can't do."See a broad to get dat booty yak 'em, leg 'er down, a smack 'em yak 'em!"0 -

It is bullshit. They have to plead guilty yet it doesn't mean anything except time served. It is bullshit. Either they are free to go or they are guilty and should be in jail.
I understand the reasoning behind them signing the plea agreement, but I think the agreement itself is bullshit. Basically, it says...we'll we may have fucked up, no one wants to fight anymore and it's been so long ago that we're not sure we could try the case effectively...why don't we just let you go and call it even?hippiemom = goodness0
