    While I do think Perry is a fraud, I could really care less about this. He will eventually be exposed for who he is.

    This is one of my biggest problems with our politics and media. They talk about things that will generate ratings because the American public eats it up. Instead of focusing on this, or what religion someone is, or about the crazy birthers, we should be discussing issues, monetary policy, defense, etc.

    Robert Morrow is actually a Ron Paul supporter. Paul dismissed the ad and was asked repeatedly about it during a Fox interview. He just dismissed it and saying even reporting on it gives it credibility.

    This all goes back to rumors that his marriage is a sham and he's really gay. There were a few a while back that he had used state funds to take a trip to the bahamas or something with another man.

    What it has become? Politics has always been harsh, and in the olden days it was worse. I read a book not that long ago about Andrew Jackson, and the elections he was involved in made anything in recent memory look like an old ladies Bridge game. Back then they didn't just drag him through the mud, but his wife (who they called a bigamist) and his mother (who they called a common whore) not to mention the things said about him.

    And more recently, back in the 60's General Motors apparently tapped Ralph Nader's phones and allegedly hired prostitutes to try and entrap him. Or so the story goes, they did settle out of court with him though, so they were up to something.

    There are plenty more examples, but politics has never been civilized.

    At an event on Thursday morning, Perry said fossil fuels will be important for electrifying parts of Africa and that the expansion of energy there can help reduce sexual assaults.

    “When the lights are on, you have light that shines, the righteousness, if you will, on these types of acts,” he said.



    Maybe he should also turn his attention to Puerto Rico if he's looking for a righteous cause.
