Are you gonna get just that or something else with it? and where and how big are you gonna get it?
probably just the name, still not sure, i can't find a picture/design i like. it's hard enough to pick a font.
i'm thinking somewhere on my arm/shoulder. not visible like forearm or anything cause i wear short sleeve shirts for work. Or maybe chest like somewhere nearish my collar bone or maybe a bit lower like maybe a few centimetres above my nipple but half way between nip and sternum if that makes sense.

it's all too hard.
Yep I get ya any of those spots would be good....or even on your heart (the spot on your chest where your heart is, I mean....not on your actual heart) then you've got 'Zara' on your heart permanently
With or without a picture would be great IMO....if you have a picture, it'd need to be something that you can easily add names of future children to.....so might be easier to just have her name for now and add a picture at a later date??
Glenns been wanting a tatt for the kids ever since we had our last bub (Maddison) but that's what's stopped him....trying to think of the perfect tatt to have involving the 3 names??? It IS hard!!
ha ha, in my search i've found some fucked up fonts, naked ladies spelling out letters, dicks spelling out letters. just weird shit.
Glenn already has tattoos right?
He's got 1 on his calf.
He'd been wanting one ever since I got my first one (nearly 20 years ago) but he didn't want to just get 'anything' just for the sake of getting a tatt. He wanted to wait until he found a picture that he instantly said "Yeah!!! That's it!!!"
He finally found that picture......but.....unfortunately the guy that did the tatt (and my Pearl Jam tatt  ) fucked it up. We're both going to get them fixed up in Surfers next time we're there. We were really impressed with the tatto place Trudie got hers done at while we were there last November.

yeah that's another thing, i don't know where to go to get one. like i know of a few places in brisso but don't know anyone who has tatts who could recommend a good place.
that's why i shoulda got it in byron on the weekend at Sharky's cause the dude has been round forever and has a good rep. but i just didn't think before hand and wasn't prepared.
SHIT!!! I've been meaning to ask how your knee is?? Is it getting any better or do you think you might need surgery? :(
nah, it's improving better then i thought, i got physio tomorrow, so i'll see what he thinks Re surgery. i want to avoid it cause i can't really be off work for 6 weeks.
i've got a fair bit of movement back in it, but it's still a bit weak to stand on unsupported.

Yeah.......it's not something you want to do lightly. I'm still spewing about mine :( I'd waited soooo long to get it done and a guy at Glenns work had recommended this place to us
Ignore my ignorance :O but how far is this Byron?? Is it somewhere that isn't too far to get back to again? If he's been in the biz for a while and has a good rep, I'd seriously wait until you can get him to do it.

Oh good
I think, seeing as though this isn't the first time it's happened to you, you'd have a fair idea of how serious it is.
I hear ya re; surgery  My knees have been fecked since I was about 11-12 from netball and I was on medication for years until I eventually gave netball away and just learnt to live with the problem and avoid anything that'd agrivate it.
By the time I had Steven (our oldest) they had become a real problem and it wasn't until I picked him up one night and one of my knees hyper-extended and I nearly dropped him, that I went and saw a specialist about them
I was being treated by the (then) Dr and physio for the West Coast Eagles and he ended up saying I needed surgery on them both.
No way could I do that and be able to look after a new bub, so avoided it and have learnt to live with it since. I just have to be careful
I've had arthritis in them both for about 8 years now and it can be annoying.....but yeah.
LMAO!!! Noooooooo  I had a reaction to the cream they gave me to use on the tattoo when I had it and had this really gross rash for about 2 months after I'd got it It was almost gone when I took that pic (about 6 weeks after), but there was still a few icky patches so I just blacked everything but the tatt out

Baaaaaaaaahahahaha!!!!
I remember fretting to Trudie, before I had it done.....because, no matter where ya get a tattoo, they always shave the area first and I didn't want them to, for fear of making the area grow all hairy  so I waxed it before I got it done hahaha!
I edited my previous post BTW....and added a pic that sorta shows the rash.
Geezus fishy  have you noticed the time?
This is extremely late for you!!!!
I'm gonna love n leave ya
I can see me getting woken up very early tomorrow. Glenns starting another friggen course tomorrow, so his alarm will no doubt be set for some ungodly hour
Prolly catchya tomorrow/today
Night and sweet dreams!!! xo

1 on ,my left shoulder blade, about the size of a bread plate. It's the Gorse Faeries - http://www.flower-fairies-pictures.co.uk/ff/shop/details.asp?productID=40
and the one on my lower back - (bad photo - not easy taking a photo of your own lower back, that's why it looks all twisted) - http://i136.photobucket.com/albums/q173/ozsmalltowngirl/tat-1.jpg
what's with the black covering your back?
do you have a hairy back or something?
You can kinda see the rash in this one :(

sure, you're just hairy like Rima.
