Funny you mention we saw this on our show last evening.

Yes life currently needs touch to survive.

    Touch is not sex though.

    It may be love

but sex is not love either.

I believe we will evolve into beings who love out of no physical gratification....
    non sexual beings.

    "As a level of consciousness
Professor Mario Beauregard, from Montreal University's centre for research into neurophysiology and cognition, used MRI to study active areas of the brain of people, who were most likely to experience unconditional love. Subjects were asked to call to mind feelings of unconditional love. Researches saw 7 active areas in the brain. Three of those areas were similar to regions in the brain that became active when it came to romantic love. The other four were different, which means that the feeling of love for someone without the need of being rewarded is different from the feeling of romantic love.
In his study professor Beauregard found that some brain areas that turned on when a person felt unconditional love also engaged in discharging dopamine, chemical that plays a role in sensing pleasure."

I posted this because I believe our consciousness will evolve
to be less centered on a personal level,
    more on a universal level.

More in the image of our maker.

Thus experiencing absolute unconditional love and understanding,
as we learn we are all connected and not just through our physical being.

I also look forward to the day we can communicate with each other
only through thought and we are all kind.

Also in the image of our maker.

But again are we already tattered?

I'm glad I'm too old to evolve into a being that does not need touch. To loose any of one's senses would be tragic.

Did I ever say anything about sex Pandora. No. Respectfully don't talk about your "Maker" again to me, I don't believe in the same God you do. You are preaching and I'm not into it.

Well yes, you did mention sex as being unconditional love of the 60's.
I thought we were talking about nonsexual beings and unconditional Love and you thought the 60's sexual revolution represented that and questioned my stance ... I didn't agree at all.

I believe and state my beliefs to evolution and how it is working towards God...
Evolution taking us to God, to a higher state of consciousness
    and that is preaching?
wasn't telling anyone to believe as I do just saying what I believe.

Me thinkth you hold a grudge....
what would Jesus do as you asked me once ... I say I really don't know?
But I think he is a really nice man forgiving at the least.

And I will speak about God to whom I want and who will listen is their choice.

No offence, but I hope not. As I'm pretty sure we'd all have to listen to you preaching all day long.

Or will there be a mute button included?

Communicate throught thought....hmmm...could be useful. But what if you boinked the wrong synapses in your brain and all of the sudden you were tuned into 6,852,472,823 (give or take) other brains all at the same time?

    AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!

I correct myself: According to the U.S. Census bureau, the current world population is 6,953,034,658.

Hey, wait a minute. That almost 7 billion. Can that be right?

STOP THINKING SO LOUD, EVERYONE, I'M TRYING TO THINK! :D

(Sorry, Pandora, it's been a long day. I'm just having some fun. ;) )

Searched "Silence" couldn't find a thread with that title but I found this I wrote a year ago..
The kind of person I am tells me I was meant to see this, meant to remember
    with your help, thank you.

Now one year gone... there was no mention... there was no toast
    I am very sorry

    One month gone
    by pandora » 26 Jul 2010 04:01

Wedding ring found carefully tucked away,

her husband's weary frown, somber silence.

    A quiet black dog.

Closet full of clothes hanging for no one,

    an empty kitchen.

    Daughter's sad smile, exhausted hug,

    a telephone that doesn't ring.

    Open bar stool.

    Motionless car.

    Grocery list unwanted.

Granddaughter's tiny cry not to be answered,

    Grandson's pool tricks without praise.

    Tearful memory shared amongst friends.

A toast to the sky, a forced smile.

    One laugh missing.

Young man's tribute, remembers the chili.

    Recipes yet to get.

    Garden left unattended.

    Dead flowers in a vase.

    Lonely, black star filled night.

Tears, to many to be counted.

    Peace still out of reach.

    One month gone.

I am thankful for life ... especially seeing how fragile it is.
