    Hey everybody, hope you're all having a great weekend, and for us qlders, yay it's a long weekend!!!! Just a quick one to touch base and say hi, it's been a busy week. Last nigth I went to the pub and as usual they had hired a guy to sing, and to my absolute shock (good shock tho) he sang Wishlist! Totally awesome, and a bit later he was saying if anyone had requests to tell him, so I told him to play more Pearl Jam and he looked surprised that I even knew he'd played Pearl Jam (well, the town is usually overrun by hicks!!) so 3 songs later he played Thin Air. Neither of these songs I have ever ever heard played in a pub before, usually they pull out Daughter and Betterman and sometimes if they're feeling particularly talented and daring they'll sing Alive, but that's abotu it. And he was good too!!! And even better, when I went home I had a dream that I married Kelly Slater and we were best mates with Pearl Jam. Awesome night all round really!!!!
    And a few mintues ago my weekend was improved even more with the news that Paris Hilton got a 45 day jail term for her flagrant continuing breaking of the law. Excellent. Although in her defence she may actually be that stupid not to know you need a valid licence to drive your $190,000 car, and that at night time cars need their lights on!

    She is a bloody champion!!
    Came into the Hard Rock with her gorgeous boys Riley and Jason! Love meeting Pit peeps!
    They travel back home tomorrow so Lindy, have a safe trip home with the family and it was great meeting you! Your boys were little champs. Wish we could have had more time to talk about our Love of Pearl Jam but like you said... on the next tour, your on :p

    People will believe anything in the item description. If you look at the question below, someone asks if its the poster that was sold at the concert. They clearly say that it's not - blatant lie.

    I emailed him 2 days ago and said that both posters were available at the concerts, and that he should change his listing - no reponse obviously.

    I feel sorry for the poor bastard who's bidded on this.

    But in saying all that, if he wants it for that price, who am I to say otherwise?

    Maybe he's only buying it coz he believes it's RARE like in the description...

    PS: Just checked out the bidders feedback. He also bought a PJ beach towel from a guy in Newcastle for US$73.

    I saw that the other day b4 the bid was made and chuckled to myself.
    I bought that poster to wrap around the outside of the Melb 1 (Ned Kelly) to protect it cos they wouldnt let me take a tube inside..
    Its now thumb tacked onto my daughters bedroom wall...
    And the guy says it wasnt available at shows.....pppttffff
    Both were available...for 10 bucks each

    Good question.....I can never put a price on PJ stuff....it's a case of if you want it enough....it's worth whatever you pay for it.

    Man...there is so many PJ items on eBay that say similar (RARE)....I spose if you're a big fan, then you'd know if it's rare or not??? Good on you, Tig, for contacting the poor bidder. I wonder if this guy could be dobbed into eBay for what he's doing? ....Item not as described...

    I'm sure you can get someone to P&B it, there are heaps of people with it, unless you really wanted the box it comes in, but you know, it's not official so i wouldn't be paying that much for it.

    but yeah as above if it's worth that much to you go ahead, but personally i wouldn't be. i've seen it as a torrent at a few sites as well for download.

    i dont think that ebay would do much about it. People lie about shit they are selling all the time. and im sure I have bought something from ebay before and paid way too much for it just because I dint know... i guess knowledge really is power with online buying!

    Just realized I wasn't on the original members list and only on the tour list....if you do re-do it my 10C # is 293XXX
