I was thinking the other night and I come up with some stuff. We have 4 major complaints here:

1 - The concert will be divided in sectors and will not have a flat ticket price all over the place;
2 - The ticket prices are way high, really expensive;
3 - We will not have early access to the concert as 10c members;
4 - The pre-sale system is laughable and will not work;

I think that out of these 4 points, 3 of them are on a stage that can't be changed. that's points 1, 2 and 4. Pearl Jam has already agreed on allowing sectors on their concerts. It's horrible, but I am sure it's signed on some contract. Ticket prices are the very same case. Promoters placed their ticket prices on the sectors and Pearl Jam has already agreed to them. It's confirmed on websites, newspapers. They won't change it.
The pre-sale system for me it's 10C fault. "Organized" as they are... I am sure the local vendor were ready to accommodate demands... But Pearl Jam/10Club never made any. Only the "generic password" system. In other words, the easy way out. They might have thought "this will be enough to shut up them"

The early access is a little more complicated and I think I figured out why. Since the venue will have sectors there will be multiple entrances to the concerts. Therefore it would require more people to organize and work the lines on several places. Since 10C did not want to hire that amount of people, or they don't have that amount of people to coordinate 6 to 8 entrances, they decided not to do it. Now they are running from their responsibility to come up front, face the members and tell the truth.

Another point people raised is security. Back in 2005 we had a 10 minute problem in Rio. Just because the other fans could see us forming up ahead of them. Some people began yelling and a gate almost fell down. I don't know who was the GENIUS that placed us right in front of angry fans that were camping there for over 20 hours.

With that said I have a proposition. We have to FOCUS our demands in one SINGLE request. We need to make a vote and organize ourselves if we want to be heard. We need to have one single demand and we need to repeat it from today until the concert day. Repeat it like a mantra. Until we get what we want.
But we need to put the pressure on a single point. ONE ENDLESS DEMAND.

Out of the 4 items. My demand would be for number 3. Early access. It's the easier to get right now in my opinion. I also would sugest them to make it available for one sector alone. A sector to be defined by the members.

I am offering myself to organize that. Send your vote, contry and since when you are a member to bittenca@gmail.com. I will create a report with all the data needed, start a petition and we can begin banging this against their heads.
In love with music

Again, I'm very sad, PJ it's not the same anymore, at least for me.

If 10c tries to help us, is exactly this what's gonna happen...
10c..you can do it...make them happy..the love you will receive back,will be unreal...

I just sent an e-mail to T4F, asking fot their position about this. Let's see if their answer makes sense...

10c, If this is not your fault, I ask you: Put an information on the website, concerning the early access, because there are a lot of people registering and paying for EARLY ACCESS and when they discover that this won't happen, ishhh...

yestarday, i was thinking in not renew my mermbship this year (ends at some point of december). But I bealive on every word as fcbittenca said before and i still want hear great music around. And if this situation doesn't change for southamerican members (central america members, partculary in Mexico City, we never had an early entrance in 2003 and 2005 tours) i will stop buying any other stuff than a CD's (i'm a big fan of silkscreen art and i bought and love a lot of merch from the store).

Course im gonna change my membership type. This is not a threat. Its a little change of way.

I agree, my vote goes to nb 3 also, but about the multiple entrance thing: those artists that i've quoted that had early entrance here in Brazil have restricted this benefit for the fans with tickets for the area closest to the stage (pista premium). The only option of FC package w/ EE was with a ticket for this area. You could buy any ticket you wanted on the FC pre sale, but the early entrance was only for those who wanted nosebleed locations. Because for those who choose "arquibancada" for ex. the early entrance means little.

Is where I want to be. If this happens, it would be a great step, almost perfect. For a section far away from the stage I really don't see great advantage on early access. But I really believe that many of us are going to buy the in front of stage section's ticket...

im listening AET show now..and from Tim answers ,seems to me,that they didnt give them alot of options..
for give them those big stadium,they should do this section tix thing ..i guess will be discounts for tix sites and prototers members..so the early entrance for 10c members was out of any plan in the 1st place..
and this must happen to Argentina and Brazil shows,,,so they couldnt give early entrance only in lets say at San Jose show..and all 10c ask and seems to get it,was this presale code system and to have plenty of tickets so not fans be out of tickets..i think that 10c for make this tour happen..had to follow the whole system,ad secure alot of tickets at the presale..Tim sound so sure that there are plenty..atleast i hope all 10c members will score tix

Tim's answers from the radio show last night

Tim: there is now a lower tier price for buenos aries, thinks they are on par with 2005, lower prices than comparable shows an email will be sent with these updated prices.

Tim: In order to get the lower price sections, there are also some higher price levels - not just typical GA. Lots of barriers, consistency with security arrangements etc

Tim: def. more consistent for all venues. There are different ticket price levels, but that's how we had to do it. There's lots of logistics with different venues/promoters, language barriers. there is no good way to do an 'early in' for 10c members

Tim: we don't guarantee that service(early entry) for 10c members, we try to do it when we can

Tim: no way to provide early entry, unable to pull it off this time - have been able to implement a plan to get as many tickets as possible to fans - within available resources etc

Tim: it affects everybody, money is tight everywhere, and the band wants to make it accessable for everybody
different income levels etc

Tim: no way to provide early entry, unable to pull it off this time - have been able to implement a plan to get as many tickets as possible to fans - within available resources etc

Tim: it affects everybody, money is tight everywhere, and the band wants to make it accessable for everybody
different income levels etc

Yep. Here were his answers if you don't feel like listening

C'mom 10 club do something about early entry at least. I am considering travelling to Costa Rica all the way from South Africa. Surely I should be able to have some sort of benefit compared to your ordinary music fan in Central/South America who is only going to the show out of interest and curiousity?

Doesn't make sense to me....

Ok. So far I got 5 replies.
4 from Brasil and one from Mexico.

Our friend Gustavo in Mexico offered to organize his country.
Thelma from Brasil is handling the virtual front on Facebook and such.

So far, most people agree that the only place on the venue that makes a difference is PREMIUM SECTOR.
Let's see how it progress. The plan is to request 10C to give Early Entry on ONE Sector alone.

I think it will be pretty easy for them to accomplish that. If they say the promoter won't allow it. I already have a backup plan. Which I think it's better than plan A. HAHAHAHAHA

Anyway. 5 is a VERY SMALL NUMBER. We need bigger ranks. We need more members. If you know a member. Let them know we are doing this.

Remember that the member must be eligible. Let's keep this within the rules. If you became a member yesterday we can't fight for you. Deal?

I was thinking the other night and I come up with some stuff. We have 4 major complaints here:

1 - The concert will be divided in sectors and will not have a flat ticket price all over the place;
2 - The ticket prices are way high, really expensive;
3 - We will not have early access to the concert as 10c members;
4 - The pre-sale system is laughable and will not work;

Main reason of why I became a member was because last time they came here I was on the regular line, waiting for hours! and suddenly saw these people with wristbands arriving half an hour before the show and entering the stadium before me, and I thought NEXT TIME I WANT THAT. :cry:
