Yo kids. Plenty of movement on here the last few days.
Busted my thumb at the snow AGAIN on the weekend. Its as fat as my big toe.

Ouch!!! My sister and her family are at Thredbo right now. Got there yesterday. They go every year. My niece (Grade 7) is a pretty good skier and at 9.30am today went for her first ski for this holiday...by 10.00am she had fallen over and broken her arm! Poor little thing. :( She loooves going too.

Yeah there were a few nasty injuries over the weekend due mainly to the snow cover. Lots of tree tops and rocks to dodge (as well as all the leppers).

I copped a pounding as well as may be evident from my posts above. Went off what I thought was a little 2-3 foot kicker and as I got to the top realised it dropped away about 8-10 foot. I was winding the windows the whole way down - double ejected from my bindings - popped a sumi solt and got back on my feet with roaring applause from about 100 people on the chair above.

I gotta drill it into my head that Im not 18 any more
I'll ride the wave where it takes me.

Are you trying to break both your legs so that you can get access to the special wheelchair section at the front of the floor at PJ ;)
Sounds like a good idea :)

    Nah unfortunately wouldve been good.
I have got one of me grinding a rail slide for about 10 feet. Its gold because I rail the first half with my skis and the second half with my ribs. Its on my mates camera - Ill let you know when I get it. Put it on you tube and your a dead man.

Wellllll, she was only on a section called "Friday Flats" or something. So I don't know if she was dodging too many trees! :D I think she just totally bungled on a flatish section, put her arm out and SNAP! It's not snapped all the way through though. The doctor said she can still ski if she wants...but she's has to be careful! Fuck that....I'd be too scared I'd snap it the whole way through! :o
