It's appropriate that Eddie played Without You last night since the South has been without him or his band for a very long time!2003: San Antonio, Houston, Dallas, Seattle; 2005: Monterrey; 2006: Chicago 1 & 2, Grand Rapids, Cleveland, Detroit; 2008: West Palm Beach, Tampa; 2009: Austin, LA 3 & 4, San Diego; 2010: Kansas City, St. Louis, Columbus, Indianapolis; 2011: PJ20 1 & 2; 2012: Missoula; 2013: Dallas, Oklahoma City, Seattle; 2014: Tulsa; 2016: Columbia, New York City 1 & 2; 2018: London, Seattle 1 & 2; 2021: Ohana; 2022: Oklahoma City0

He's never brought his solo act to Texas. Get on it, Ed."Most men lead lives of quiet desperation and go to the grave with the song still in them." - Thoreau

That's exactly the issue here. Travel costs exclude way too many eager, die-hard fans from seeing shows. We love Ed too and deserve a chance to see him.
Yes, I think it'd be a lot more green for him to fly his one person down here.
Besides, it's beautiful and colorful here in the winter when it's cold and grey in Seattle. :geek:
Isn't this Magnolia tree kind of pretty?&&&&&&&&&&&&&&0 -

Ok, he played Memphis, Nashville, and Atlanta in 09 but there are so many regions with very populated cities that he has not played (Florida, Texas, Arizona). The cities he has played are so far from other major cities of the South. To me, the other play the South thread is for Pearl Jam shows...this one is for Eddie solo shows.
Let's keep both threads on page 1! Whose with me?
Now I have 2 threads to bump? This is becoming a full time job.
that being said two awesome venues for Eddie to play in Houston:
Jones Hall (when I saw uncle neil there the acoustics were awesome, don't know why you would say it's not good for a rock show)
or Wortham Theater...PJ: 10/14/00 06/09/03 10/4/09 11/15/13 11/16/13 10/08/14
EV Solo: 7/11/11 11/12/12 11/13/120 -

The pic has to be online. Save a pic to photobucket.com (accounts are free if you don't have one). Once they are in photobucket, you can select a picture and it will give you an image code (IMG Code). Just copy the image code and paste it in your reply on here."Most men lead lives of quiet desperation and go to the grave with the song still in them." - Thoreau

You don't even need to do that... just right click on the picture and open the picture in it's own tab... the URL for the picture will be in the address bar. Copy the URL and put it into your post.... highlight it and click the Img button at the top, and Bam! Just remember it's got to be less than 600x600!Houston, Texas...
