yes please.
And I'll echo the Jones Hall suggestion. Perfect venue for a solo gig in downtown Houston."Most men lead lives of quiet desperation and go to the grave with the song still in them." - Thoreau

I saw both of the Atlanta shows in 09 and would love to see him back for a couple more, now that Uke Songs is out. I bet the new songs are awesome in concert, especially when mixed with ITW and everything else he plays. The Fox would be great, but another couple of shows at Cobb would do just as well.0

Ok, he played Memphis, Nashville, and Atlanta in 09 but there are so many regions with very populated cities that he has not played (Florida, Texas, Arizona). The cities he has played are so far from other major cities of the South. To me, the other play the South thread is for Pearl Jam shows...this one is for Eddie solo shows.
Let's keep both threads on page 1! Whose with me?
Now I have 2 threads to bump? This is becoming a full time job.
that being said two awesome venues for Eddie to play in Houston:
Jones Hall (when I saw uncle neil there the acoustics were awesome, don't know why you would say it's not good for a rock show)
or Wortham Theater...Houston, Texas... Believe it or not, there are 7 million people here... must be a couple of fans who'd love to see you play.0 -
travelled from austin for the 2 nashville shows. amaving nights. would love to see eV in my hometown or at least state! This show, another show, a show here and a show there.0

I had the same thought, but so be it! :-P
We really, really want some shows and I think it's good that anyone can see that by visiting page 1 of the forums. Over 8 years for many areas now....we are fans and we want some shows in our neck of the woods too!2003: San Antonio, Houston, Dallas, Seattle; 2005: Monterrey; 2006: Chicago 1 & 2, Grand Rapids, Cleveland, Detroit; 2008: West Palm Beach, Tampa; 2009: Austin, LA 3 & 4, San Diego; 2010: Kansas City, St. Louis, Columbus, Indianapolis; 2011: PJ20 1 & 2; 2012: Missoula; 2013: Dallas, Oklahoma City, Seattle; 2014: Tulsa; 2016: Columbia, New York City 1 & 2; 2018: London, Seattle 1 & 2; 2021: Ohana; 2022: Oklahoma City0 -

Better Dan wrote:I saw an Eddie solo show for my first and only time in Memphis in 2009. I drove almost 9 hours from the Dallas area to attend the show and it was worth it..such a wonderful experience by an amazing performer. I (and many other fans I have spoken to who do not have the luxury to be able to travel for concerts) would LOVE to see a show in our neck of the woods.
That show was amazing and in such a beautiful venue. I wish he would hit Memphis again and a few other Southern cities.
(Sadly, when you add travel cost onto the price of concert tickets and such, it's out of a lot of people's means, including my own.)Hearts and thoughts they fade....
fade away...
I am at peace with my lust.....for Eddie.0 -

That's exactly the issue here. Travel costs exclude way too many eager, die-hard fans from seeing shows. We love Ed too and deserve a chance to see him."Most men lead lives of quiet desperation and go to the grave with the song still in them." - Thoreau

I want to see Eddie solo at a local venue... there are so many nice ones near my house...Houston, Texas... Believe it or not, there are 7 million people here... must be a couple of fans who'd love to see you play.0 -
