    check out the Panasonic TZ3. its about 500 but Andy reckons its an awesome camera.
    otherwise, check out the Olympus MJU 795 or the Olympus SP 560. Good ones aswell but a little cheaper.

    he says he can check the price for you, but thinks $425 is a really good price, and its one of his faves at the moment.... has all the good bits, so if you can get it for that price, go for it. But he will get you a HN price if you like?
