Love this show, just started watching it through again on DVD and noticed that one of the writers must have been a bit of a Grunge fan.

So far 3 of the 'bad guys' have been called:
Layne Staley
Krist Novoselic
Matt Cameron

I wonder if any of the other guys will make a guest appearance at any point.....

I used to love that show when it was on. But never picked up on the name thing. Good catch.

    Best. Television. Show. Ever.

I remember the names thing; the writers would insert well-known names for suspects or for use on the board. I don't think they ever used PJ's music in the show, though (a lot of music was used to great effect -- Soul Coughing, Tom Waits, Belly, The Pretenders, Live, Nine Inch Nails, etc.).

It is a brilliant show, extremely well done on all counts.

Missed the names thing the first 2 times around - 3rd time lucky I guess! :D

Absolutely loved this show - up until the network execs made them add one pretty girl, one hot guy, one young latino, blah blah blah... that sucked the wind out of its sails.

Fantastic show. If you don't tear up during the end of the episode "A Doll's Eyes", you're not human. Awesome use of music at times - the songs "What if God was one of us" and Faith No More's "Evidence" both pop into my mind as big moments on the show.
Is it too much to ask for a full-blown Temple of the Dog set? Probably.

That episode was a heartbreaker -- one of the saddest things I've seen.

The show was not the same without Andre Braugher.
