I recently purchased this Lanikai NK-T (Natural Koa Tenor Uke). It's beautiful and found a great deal on it.

Looks like they're actually not very expensive, I might end up picking one up.

I have two. Both Washburns circa 1910. Were given to me by my grandmother who got them from a BF back when she was a teenager.

One is a traditional uke, the other is a banjo shaped uke.
Intelligence is the key and she was locked out

financially, not much of an investment (to start out). timewise? yikes. also, the allure of having several shapes and sizes on hand is hard to ignore. there's this thing called UAS (UU members know) - ukulele addiction syndrome - and it can be a heavy load. i got it full blown

After hearing me go on and on and on and on about ATP in 2002, and how great ed's little uke songs were, my very dear friend gave me one for Christmas. It's a sweet little inexpensive model from the local Costco, I took a few classes at my community college, and I've enjoyed it ever since. Nothing fancy, and I'm no pro on it, that's for sure...but it does make me happy.

Uke can change the world :)

In a heartbeat I'm considering buying a uke anyway just to learn these new songs! So an EV sig uke would seal the deal

Ed's Tululele is $900 and you can buy it here. No need to have it in the goods section. If you decide on the Non Ed version(no pickups, etc) they are $600 + $100 for a hard case.

I got a uke in Hawaii this year. I have a D&D Lacewood. I realy like it but havent had too much time to learn it yet as Im still working on guitar. Hoping to get using it this summer. My 5yr old daughter really wants to learn the uke. My guitar teacher knows how to play so he said he would teach her. Anyone have any kids that play? Either guitar, bass or uke? Wondering what the learning is like for kids on strings vs keys on a piano.
the person below me smells like cat pee and raisins...
